If its an expansion for the Bharata deck shouldn't it share the back design so that it is possible to combine the decks? It appears you are sticking the the newer blue back design despite the blue deck never being produced.
Would it not make more sense to have it match the existing deck?

JuFIN - I'd thought about this. Even though I go with the earlier back design (as on original Bharata deck), it won't be easy to combine the decks. This deck will use a different gold gilding as compared to the earlier one and the finish/coating is going to be entirely different as the varnish improved considerably. Secondly, when I asked a few Tarot readers about the 2 backs, they preferred the blue one. Hope it clarifies.
I've just posted the first update with the news around the extremely limited & exclusive handcrafted decks (playing card deck & tarot deck) with the personalization option (box can have your name etc.). This exclusivity and personalization will make it a treasure for the generations to come.
FYI....3 different variations in handcrafted poker decks are available now, ranging from one sided court, 2 way courts and oval cards....More in latest update made today.
I still receive PMs about what GPCC is and which printer I am working with etc. I've gone ahead and added the following text on the Kickstarter page. I can't reveal the name or associate which other *PCCs use this particular printer.
** GPCC is a new kid on the block but I am working with top vendors/partners (printer, art gilding workshop & shipping/fulfillment partner) in their field to bring best products to market. The printer I'm working with also partners with top most playing card companies and has produced some of the best decks for top designers & artists in the world.
Does it make sense or should I describe this somewhat differently? Let me know.
It's free shipping on 2 or more decks, thus the asterisk in the header description. I'm sure it's too much of a loss on Sunish's part for one deck to give free shipping. Yes he did it on the Bharata deck so maybe he learned the hard way.

Can your gilders do silver, not gold, like in your mock up picture? Looks really good and would go well with silver on tuck.
Sorry Rich for missing to respond here. The new finish "Ornate" is compatible with antique gold gilding which is the reason I'm going with gold. If I go with silver, then I won't be able to get Ornate finish on this deck which will be a dampener.
As I just finished posting my latest update on production start, tuckbox layout etc., thought of coming here & thanking each one of you here on UC who has supported Bharata Tarot. After seeing repeated failures on getting it funded on Kickstarter, I wanted to drop it but persisted somehow. I really appreciate your support here, thank you!
Production might start in a week or two, and I hope to deliver this deck much sooner than the earlier anticipated timelines. I'm happy to see it getting produced finally!!! Thanks again.
A quick update: 30 hours left on Kickstarter now. Deck is already in production queue so all backers can expect to get it sooner than earlier anticipated.
FYI........Production is progressing well. Sheets are due to cutting today, and after that these will be sent to gilding partner's workshop. Tucks are being done in parallel. If all goes well and per plan, decks should be ready by end of next week. Shipping may take some time given the fulfilment partner is busy with fulfilling Xmas orders from Alibaba, Amazon etc. but I will try to manage and expedite the process once production finishes. Fingers crossed.....
Given the Kickstarter campaign ended on 10th December, another feather in GPCC's cap getting things done promptly & better than the rest with a focus on having a great backer experience with regular communication
Tom, well I guess I could mean it either way. I do agree with you about Kickstarter, which was why I was laughing about giving Kickstarter a bad name by getting the rewards out early. That hardly ever happens. Kickstarter basically doesn't care if your rewards are fulfilled or not.
The Crazy Squirrel Deck Hunter - Hunt decks to extinction
Production is slated to finish in next few days. The deck has come out really well and I plan to start the pre-order and preparation for Kickstarter fulfillment soon.
Just a quick update here that addons (except handcrafted decks) have been shipped to backers and tracking numbers sent to each backer individually.
The 26-page booklet (a well kept secret and now a gift for Kickstarter backers) is in queue for printing. On another note, backers of original Bharata deck have started receiving the handcrafted deck & the collector's box with one of them to display the handcrafted deck as a highlight in an exhibition in US.
Pre-order page is up at UCdeck sales now. Worldwide shipping of USD $6 is included in the price and deck will be packaged in multiple bubble wraps so that they arrive safe & secure to your doorstep.

I don't really know why I haven't backed any of your projects before. I think it's just that the themes aren't my 'cup of tea', but this picture right here is gonna force me to buy all of your products now. I mean, the artwork is stellar, and the gilding just looks so sexy. I'm gonna be all-in on your future campaigns.

Thanks for your message. I m sure you will like this and future decks as well. Next is going to take time as it is a full transformation deck. Though the site is a work in progress but you can bookmark it, just in case.
