You're right that nobody's bought one for $200 yet, but I said $200 and up

Didn't realize one had sold. A 500% price increase right out of the gate.Merlebird wrote:You're right that nobody's bought one for $200 yet, but I said $200 and upThere's three listings linked there and the third guy, who's selling his error decks for $250, already sold one for that price four days ago.

Phew... Foiling is almost finished. During the past week I was all day (and all days) in the workshop. Super happy with the outcome. There is only the silver on the back side left which will be done on Monday.

Re: "ARABESQUE" by OathPlayingCards
Sorry had two reviews in line to finish. They are now wrapped. (Jaspas Deck Favourite day edition and blaines stoics) Just finished the audio edit for arabesque. Now need to fill with b roll. I would expect a Friday release for this although I may hold off until Monday.

Re: "ARABESQUE" by OathPlayingCards
NEWS HERE!!!
Little by little these shiny beauties are coming out of the oven! The decks will be ready by the end of the week but I will ship them on the 25th of May as on Friday 18 May I'm flying to Prato in Italy, guest of the Prato Comics+Play https://www.pratocomicsplay.com/lotrek/.
But there is another reason:
Tomorrow at 5:00pm EDT opens the preorder for ARABESQUE SILVER: 150 decks printed with silver foil instead of gold (and gold instead of silver). The silver foil I used is produced in Japan and gives very clear details and an amazing, balanced shine. I'll post pics tomorrow.
Both editions will be sent together on the 25th of May.
As always, you're the first to know

Lotrek, do we go to oath playing cards to purchase them?

Also, is it possible to get matching numbers if we order both decks?

Re: "ARABESQUE" by OathPlayingCards
Great review TheGentlemanWake. I was really looking forward to this review and you exceeded my expectations. I like how you shot all the court cards together and mentioned and showed briefly several of his earlier works.
I thought the deck handled really well myself, but I am not even close to a cardist. I admit I didn't attempt some of the moves you put them through. I guess we will have to see how the final version come out. I am also looking forward to seeing how the Mistro finish comes out on the De Novo decks.
Also, the Arabesque error deck was "only" $50. A relative bargain really...

Thanks, Brad. Yeah, I felt a bit sacrilegious putting the deck through the handling phase of my review--it's really NOT meant for that.Bradius wrote:Great review TheGentlemanWake. I want to say the error deck was $70, no? But my memory may be faulty.

Think you might confuseing the cost of the error deck ($50) with the cost of the Golden Oath prototype deck ($70).
