Bicycle Rider Back Crimson and Cobalt Luxe Version 2
I was browsing Murphy's Magic and noticed that USPCC just released a v2 of the Crimson (Red) and Cobalt (Blue) Metal Luxe decks...tuck is different and the courts are recolored. Will have to pick up a pair when I can.

Re: Bicycle Rider Back Crimson and Cobalt Luxe Version 2
Thanks for posting Shermjack
I'm curious if these are released by USPCC itself or some other company
The tucks of these look very similar to the foil backs from Jokarte (released in 2016 in green & gold):

Back in 2015 USPCC sold some prototypes in Red, Blue, Green and Silver:

A bit later USPCC released the official Metal Luxe Rider backs in Red, Blue and Gold with a white tuck, still waiting for green & silver in that white tuck....

Hey Azid, not sure as I only saw them on Murphy's site, but by the looks of the tuck and naming of the cards, I would think that these might be from Jokarte as well.
These are available already at Hocus-Pocus and Penguin, two of my go to sites...I haven't seen them on Will's site (PCD) yet, which is my other go to site.

You guys always deliver the best, primo, exquisite card porn.
I think I like these better than the V1s, actually.

I accidentally discovered the Crimson foil back deck at Walgreens earlier today and I must say ..... this is the best Metalluxe deck of the series! Better than the white tuck gold version pictured above which I used to like the most. The red pops so much and tuck is better designed. They cost $9.99.

I also got a crimson deck at Walgreens. I am very pleased with the quality (unlike the crappy ‘Aurora’ deck they were pedaling.)

Really? Only $10? That's a lot cheaper than their V1 going at $19.99 until they gave a 50% bundle discount. Sadly, that's something the int'l folks won't be able to take advantage. How does the V2 foiling compare with V1? Not going to bother if it's almost the same unless there's a sale.Bikefanatic wrote:I accidentally discovered the Crimson foil back deck at Walgreens earlier today and I must say ..... this is the best Metalluxe deck of the series! Re: Bicycle Rider Back Crimson and Cobalt Luxe Version 2
I have the green/black and white/gold above and the crimson v2 just shines much better.
The question is what's the difference between the black and white tucks for the gold back metalluxe?

Re: Bicycle Rider Back Crimson and Cobalt Luxe Version 2
The original white tuck boxed decks were direct Bicycle Cards releases while the gold/green black boxed decks were released by Jokarte...it is suspected that the new Crimson and Cobalt decks are also by Jokarte as the tuck boxes are basically the same, but I am not certain.Bikefanatic wrote: The question is what's the difference between the black and white tucks for the gold back metalluxe?

Re: Bicycle Rider Back Crimson and Cobalt Luxe Version 2
Golden Luxe has standard Bicycle courts. Doesn't Foil Back Gold have recolored courts (which are hideous IIRC)?Bikefanatic wrote:...The question is what's the difference between the black and white tucks for the gold back metalluxe?

^ My Walgreens have the red High Victorian and black Artisan instead with everything else the same. The question is will the cobalt luxe version come into stores without getting it online?
