I didn't realize the previous Forge Arts campaigns were with different designers. If this is Basil's rookie deck, then I certainly agree with you!

Glad to hear you all dig the cards! Sorry for the long wait, but I'm thrilled to see that people are pleased with them.

EDIT:

Just saw the suggestion for a 90s deck, that might be a cool idea. If I do another deck I'll likely do so on my own without a partnership deal like I did for Magnum Force. I'd want to make sure I have full control, and can plan a proper marketing campaign for it, etc. In any case, it may be a while, but I do appreciate the enthusiasm and support!

If you decide to go for another deck, make sure to post it to the drafting board here and you will get some great feedback prior to launch and you will create some early buzz to help with marketing efforts. The Magnum Force deck showed up out of nowhere. I am so pleased I got some but I didn't see anything prior to your campaign. I look forward to your next project and good luck!

Appreciate the heads up. Yeah, I was totally green, and I relied on RPC to take care of building awareness, but that didn't happen because their ownership changed hands and Magnum Force wasn't handled the way I was promised it would. I wanted more time to get a buzz going, but I was urged to rush it out since the previous owner was eager to make his exit. Anyway, lesson learned, I'll go it alone next time and I'll be sure to keep you all in the loop. Thanks!

You could still re-release this deck, make like a limited edition tuck for it. Some respected artists do that with their decks, too. We could help you get more attention for your release here, too. The tuck as it is I think is really nice, the different tuck would just be a way to differentiate the second release/limited edition.

Just a question though, did you do the video yourself or was that the company you hired for production? I really liked the video, it's only one of the only KS preview videos I've ever bothered watching and it was one of the reasons I backed. You should do more of that if you want to do another deck, that was amazing. It really sells you on the deck, and then the deck itself delivers on the promise.

The licensing would probably be insane, but a BSG homage deck would be wicked.

That's an idea worth exploring for sure. Until then, there's like a thousand or so decks that are available on the RPC website, but I don't have any control over that side of things. Should they sell out I'll look into another limited release if there's enough interest.
As for the video, yes that was done by myself over the course of a year. It was a ton of work, more so even than designing the deck. I'd love to do more of that sort of thing, but I'd have to be able to justify it financially since it's extremely labor intensive.
A BSG licensed deck would be awesome for sure.
