Ever so slightly on the pricey side for semi-standard courts, but those are undeniably damn fine looking cards that really nail that NYC aesthetic.

But what's up with the background? A rope and...is that a stirrup? Is this a western style background for a NYC deck?

They are and they do! I totally feel the price is justified for the design. If the cards had foil, then I'd be more ecstatic.

Is this a series they plan on expanding to other city skylines? Great execution - I'll wishlist for sure.

That is a great tuck... And the courts while standard, have some really nice custom elements in them, on the border specifically.

But this is just not good enough for me. I'd rather use my money on making my currently enormous wishlist smaller or buying some good looking vintage or novelty deck.

I'm so looking forward to what other cities are lined up for this series! Sooo want to get one of these, but unfortunately shipping once again is nearly just as expensive as the deck... Fingers crossed for any retail release opportunities...

If they make a st Louis one, I might bite. There are definitely better decks for less money to get first.

I'm going to echo what many have already said but I have so many questions:
Is this going to be a series? If so is it really going to be a series or is it just going to fizzle out like others (E'c elements, JR's armed forces, etc.)?
How many cities do they plan on doing?
Are the backgrounds of the cards ecru/eggshell colored or is that just the pic?
Why are these $20?
Are all the other cities going to be $20? This could get pricey quickly.
The Statue of Liberty is obviously iconic but will they incorporate other structures into the other cities as well as they did here? Somehow I don't see the St. Louis Arch looking as good on the AoS as Lady Liberty does, etc.

I will think about buying these but I wish they would give us more details about future plans. I also wish they structured this in a way similar to Vanda with the Planets series, like some sort of a prepay thing. Either way I opted out of the Planets series due to price and I will most likely not board this train either for the same reason.

I think at a bare minimum they should do a Cincinnati-themed deck, given USPCC's location. Not sure what color scheme you'd use - red and orange, maybe? - but you could throw the Tyler Davidson Fountain or Union Terminal on the backs and it'd look pretty good.

If cincinnati, it should be red & white, or red, white & black. It'll represent the Reds ,Cyclones and UC Bearcats.

This deck looks ok. Vegas would be another great skyline.

tfw you namedrop our minor-league hockey team and our college basketball team just to avoid reminding anyone of our "pro" football team    It's OK, orange can represent FC Cincinnati, too. Red, orange and blue (as a sop to the Xavier fans) would cover everybody, I guess. The colors of the Cincinnati flag are red, white, and blue, so it would incorporate that as well, with the orange hopefully keeping it from looking too standard.

I purposely didn't mention the Bengals. They're like an ex that you keep letting come back, expecting them to do right but keep f'in up.

I think the 100th design was the last deck I got from CPC's kickstarter. I'll have to see an actual deck review to see if the tuck is what's it suppose to be.

These look quite nice. Im not sure if it is $20 nice but I do appreciate it being from NY (Long Island or as we say "Lawnguyland"). I'm not into tring to get all of the subsequent skylines though as I just don't want to commit to the entire series.

I really like what I see here... but, $20? Really?

This would be a deck I'd grab half a brick or more of, to play with and show off when I have folks over to play cards, if it were at the more appropriate price level. $20 is just a bit too rich.

That said, when it comes to other skylines, how cool would it be to do Seattle, Vegas, Toronto, San Francisco, or Chicago? Or, internationally, add London, Paris, Moscow, or Sydney? Mmmm. I'd collect such a set. Again, if the pricing were more reasonable.

Hmmmm....

Nice, but not $20 nice. Simple as that.

Good job on these, CPC, but just because you price your crappiest decks $10 doesn't make this one worth twice as much.

Just saw this from Victor's review...

I don't know if this issue happens to all of the decks, but that offset tuckbox foil print is horrendous. Charging that much for a deck with such a large margin of error... I would ask for a refund if that happened to most of the decks!

Could anyone verify whether yours has this problem or not? (Haven't received mine)

Oof! Thanks Sherm, that's 1000% more relieving than the JN KS comment section  :P
