Re: His & Hers (NSFW?)
I like the cards backs on these, although I think the border looks a bit too thick. Definitely a beautiful woman that I wouldn't mind seeing more of.
The tuck box appear to be a straight glossy black tuck which is disappointing.
If the price were lower and/or the tuck were better I would think about getting one of these. However, the $20 bucks is a bit much for it.
Yep, as I thought, if all I wanted was nudie pics of this woman I can just google those for free.

Edit: also, it is surprising these are printed by USPCC from what I have read of them not printing racy pictures or things like a biker flipping the bird.

Apparently the pics are of Ms Mosh, one of the world's leading alternative models known for her signature look...who knew
. Anyways, I think that’s why the price is so high...it’s a collab, but still

Kind of ironic that it was $25 and now $20. When will publisher start to realize that buzz words like limited don’t work that easy (luckily) anymore? Time to put more effort into a deck if you wanna squeeze out $20 from my wallet!

Re: His & Hers (NSFW?)
Hi All,
Someone just told me there was a post here about this deck. I'll do my best to clarify for you before it turns ugly.
We just spent the past year and a half working on this together. No, it's not a nude deck of cards, simply not allowed by USPCC and not something we wanted to do. The deck was simply designed with her fans in mind. Happy if the playing card folks dig it, but there's a thousand decks a day being made for us to sift through and choose from.
With her style and her extensive background modeling, we thought we'd do something a little different for her, her brand and her fans. I think the $20 price is very justified as it was an expensive deck to produce. Everyone else would just sell a T-shirt, calendar or poster but those things only take 10 minutes to slap together and they would still charge $20.
Illustration time aside, and just looking at what went into the photography alone...we're talking hundreds of hours over many months to shoot dozens of different looks...looks that took time to create including hair, makeup, wardrobe, location scouting and finally shooting thousands of photos just to narrow it down to 52 solid images...it's really not your standard deck of cards.
I don't really have to justify anything here, just wanted to chime in before comments starting taking a turn.
Cheers.

Thanks for chiming in, Chris! Yes, definitely not a deck for everyone and not your typical Whispering Imps style of deck, but I can understanding the pricing based on the target audience, which I am not. Anyways, wishing you best of luck!

At least these look better than the recycled, filter-heavy decks that a certain someone keeps posting on KS every other week...

Re: His & Hers (NSFW?) (wap)
Thank you. I’ve been doing what I can in my downtime with the Imps...this was a nice change of pace from making more traditional decks and getting away from magic for a moment. Fortunately it’s been really well received today with sales and the feedback I received which is refreshing to see.
Not sure what’s next on the horizon but if something comes up I’ll check back with everyone. It’s too much work making decks on the side with a full time job.

Re: His & Hers (NSFW?)
I definitely get the time and cost it took to get all of the photos from different locations and looks. There was nearly infinitely more effort and time put into those photos than some of the deck designs that float thorugh here or sell through hype out there.
I like the card backs and she is definitely beautiful, I just wish the tuck were a bit better. With your target being more fans of her and not really collectors I can see where something like tuck stock wasnt all that important. On the other hand, you could have just printed with some average printer with a smooth finish for the best photograph look. So going with USPCC says you considered card people a bit.
If the prices were lower I would probably pick up one of these and probably one or 2 of the afore alluded to Hartsoe decks. However, as a deck collector I need more than 1 or 2 appealing qualities in a deck usually to pick one up.
So far, there haven't been too many decks or designers that have gotten me to pay 20 dollars or more for a deck. Unfortunately, Lorenzo set the bar pretty high for what to expect for a $25 deck.
We do appreciate designers stopping in and engaging!
