Re: The Lord of the Rings - By Kings Wild Project
That's a hefty assumption there. I imagine the One Ring Edition will be similarly priced, especially since he won't have to pay any KS fees on them.Adamthinks wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 12:20 pm That also likely means we won't see a Kickstarter discount on the cards either. So a gilded version, if one is even made now, would be a lot more.
I've spent way more than I care to admit on playing cards, but I'll still buy just about anything that Lorenzo, Jackson, or Gio make.

When we launch the other version the Standard, Gilded, and Legacy Prices will be exactly the same as the ones on Kickstarter.Adamthinks wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 12:20 pm That also likely means we won't see a Kickstarter discount on the cards either. I'm hoping it's a digital render and he's offset it on purpose for the above reason.

Put broiled chicken leg into a cup. Pour hot water over it. Let it sit for 10 min. Voila - chicken tea. Removal of chicken leg optional but not recommended.

Re: The Lord of the Rings - By Kings Wild Project
We are nearing the 300k mark and if we make it to that incredible threshold, we will release an all new Kickstarter Exculsive, Limited Deck. This deck will be numbered and features a sweet book-style side-loaded tuck case and an illustrious gold-foiled back design, while maintaining the original court cards.

Also since they're foiled and side load, Jackson is using his other printer that produced the Misborn decks.
I've spent way more than I care to admit on playing cards, but I'll still buy just about anything that Lorenzo, Jackson, or Gio make.

That back design is so superior to the current one, but it kills me that it will only be on a super-expensive deck.

Both are fantastic, but I wouldn't say either is superior to the other.wingedpotato wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 9:51 am That back design is so superior to the current one, but it kills me that it will only be on a super-expensive deck.
I think if Jackson had never made the original designs, the response for the current design would have been a lot more positive. Seems like a lot of people are hung up on that design.

The resonance is still overwhelmingly positive it's just that the other design is more sophisticated and speaking more to the O(l)dd Fellows of UCEvilDuncan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 10:34 amI think if Jackson had never made the original designs, the response for the current design would have been a lot more positive. Images from DiscordFull Color Storage Boxes - Because you Rock! Included with all purchases of 4+ decks!
As a way simply to say thank you, we have created full-color storage boxes to store your beautiful The Lord of the Rings decks. These storage boxes will be automatically included with any pledge of 4 or more decks! If you've pledged 4-6 decks we will include the 6 deck box in your order. Any purchase of 7+ decks will receive one of our 12 deck storage boxes. And don't you worry, these beautiful boxes will NOT be the shipping box. Nope! These beautiful boxes will be nestled in an additional shipping box so we don't ruin these beauties with those nasty shipping labels. Thanks again for your continued support and be sure to stay tuned as we have a few more additions to the project coming next week!
