I actually expected to see something else entirely - they had pointed to an artists instagram when they first mentioned these and it had a very sweet looking mars tuck, nothing like this - no idea of what the cards will be like should that deck arrive

I am an ultra fan, but I have all the ultra I need - and this version doesn’t really do it for me in any case

Tuck box and back design are indeed very intriguing - like a lot of Gemini decks but the faces just don't work for me here and are the sole reason I never picked up a Gemini deck. Which, I can't really tell why, because I have a lot of Fulton's or anyone decks with standard courts.

Gemini has more variety and better design sense than either IMO :ugthink:

De gustibus non est disputandum so, I'm not going into that or that Gemini has four deck styles that get rehashed over and over. The fact that Fulton's and anyone at least have fully custom decks amongst their portfolio makes the claim of more variety somewhat weird πŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™€οΈ.

The card faces remind me a LOT of the Ultra Blue deck pictured below. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of a departure in colours and style, methinks.

We actually have new designs, we just haven't released them yet. Toomas has designed 10+ decks that fall more into the luxury decks category. Some also have fully custom faces. These will be released when we get access to Kickstarter. We have waited 6 years to use Kickstarter, if needed we will wait another 6 or more :)

Here are couple sample decks designed by Toomas and this is what you can expect from us when we can start using Kickstarter.

Thank you for sharing that sneak peek with us.
Do you know why Estonia πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ͺ still isn't on kickstarter's list?
Did you ever consider a pre-order via your website?
Lego for example does it with their bricklink designer program, where sets are available for preorder. If less than e.g. 3,000 are pre-ordered they simply won't be produced. Saves you kickstarter fees as well.

I don’t think that Gemini has the needed volume of site traffic for preorders of that type to be effective there compared to kickstarter

Harvonsgard was referring to pre-orders for decks that would only be produced if enough orders were received (kickstarter style)

This is more my speed. Toomas got some skill, at least for boxes. Unless this is some t11-like tuck/card incongruity, I may start buying Gemini.

Please do consider getting in touch with Will Roya of Playingcarddecks.com. He's helped produce and fulfill some Kickstarter projects for others in the past. He'll be a real asset in getting your decks out there on KS without having to wait X years for KS to put Estonia on the list.
