Intrigued but not going to try to grab one of hundred.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

The Hidden Key Deck by Maru Objects

Unread post by BaconWise »

This is a project I have been following for a while. Maru Objects has just launched their Hidden Key deck, limited to 100. It is a direct website release and pretty pricey at £42 (British Pounds) which equals roughly $52 USD. The artwork is superb and I was hoping they would be doing a KS launch, but it is sadly limited to their website only. Unique suits in this deck: Hearts, Snakes, Hands and Daggers. Probably the best font I have seen in a deck for a long time. Very cool project, even if it is priced out of many collectors' comfort zones.

Is there anywhere we can see the rest of the courts? I'm guessing they aren't repeated but I'd rather be sure.

Don't really like the made up pips but the art is very impressive. The extra box and the wax seal also not very appealing, shame they don't just sell a standard version just in the tuck. No chance they'll be putting out another edition I suppose?

You can see some of the prints on their site - click on each and you can see more of each suit

They are repeating courts it seems:

That's very disappointing and an easy no. It was already no, but now it's even easier.

Always assume repeating courts unless you can see otherwise

Thanks for the merge, HSBC! I didn't notice the existing thread.

The repeating courts is a deal-breaker, unfortunately

Ouch... Glad I stuck to what I said prior.
