My funds aren't charged enough to pledge for these.

I do have a few animated decks, but they are generally not something I get excited about. However, in the interest in trying to help this project come to life, I am in for a deck. Good luck!

I'm as addicted to my phone as anyone... and I get that it may seem tough to come up with ideas for original decks...
But I must say that my interest in this deck is... Low.
Keep it Sizzlin'!

We understand that aesthetics are subjective and we appreciate your opinion. However, we have not seen any smartphone-inspired deck like this. Please let us know if we've missed it, and we'd like to learn about it. Thanks.

Th4moโ€™s comment was not saying that there was a similar smart phone deck - simply that it was not to his taste. Not to mine either - but you canโ€™t expect to please everyone. Seeing that you got Bradius to go in on it, who knows what he likes and knows cards like a squirrel knows nuts, you can take some earned encouragement.

I love the way you've incorporated the theme into the overall design of the deck and put in a flip book animation . You've even taken the trouble to incorporate the theme into the courts as well. It's much better than most of the meh decks on kickstarter to be sure. The overall design is clean and minimal.

However there's something missing that keeps the deck as a decent, above-average deck instead of a great, must get deck. I can't quite say what it is though. If this was introduced 3-4 yrs back, I would have gotten it.

(Ender's Game had a list of other flip book decks which came out pre 2021 here: https://playingcarddecks.com/blogs/all- ... -animation)

But now when you look at the recent flip book decks, you have decks like Praha clock and Craps decks. That's what I would compare the deck right now.

Also doesn't help that so many other great decks have come out recently and Black Friday is coming next month. $ is really stretched right now for some of us who aren't mad squirrel hunters. :)

Yes, we understand well that there is no way to get everyone pleased. We won't have any to say if someone dislikes the design, but we are just surprised to hear criticism about the originality of the deck. And, seriously, we'd really like to know if we have missed anything because after all, there are too many decks in the market.

Thanks a lot for your comments. Indeed, we have to admit that the works of the big names are really exceptional and we love them too. We also understand people would compare our work to others. In fact, our core idea is around smartphones, but we thought that it would be more interesting with the flip-book animated feature. No matter how we'll keep working on improvement and hope to bring more impressive ideas to the market.

Lastly, you're right that timing is also a matter. We have a hard time deciding it. Perhaps we should have spent shorter for pre-launch.

That was not the point of the comment - it simply stated that coming up with an original idea, such as you have, is difficult - it was not meant to imply that yours was not original.
