Not gonna lie, when reading Beyond Playing Cards I did expect something like Golden Oath/Damask techniques meets fully custom artwork.

Can't help but wish LPCC's Stratosphere had incorporated similar court designs like this. Of course, having full visor covered shows off the foil, but still, at least it makes it easier to differentiate the courts.

I dipped a toe in for a dark deck, mostly in consideration of the aces - still not sure if I’m hanging in till the end but at least its not a wallet buster

I much prefer V1 even if the backs seem to have borrowed considerably from Orbit 1 and Orbit 4

I'm quite the opposite. That V2 is in every aspect an upgrade to me. Printer much more to my liking. Fully custom artwork. Nice texture and subtle embossing on the 002 tuckbox. Those are all steps in the right direction imho. As for the Orbit comparison... Orbit used one of the most rudimental and archaic shapes, so that comparison could be used for every circular shape on a beck design.

The orbit comparison has more to do with the rockets and their trails

I love the card back and speckles on the white version. Very nice!
