I love DB and wish to support him more. In Spades Holo is the first deck in my collection but sadly that Bicycle and Holo combination are my worst humidity-affected deck. I can never recover it even if I dehumidify the cards. Also badly misaligned cut.

I ought to get black or white lions, so might get these depending on accessibility.

The lack of card foiling on the final product is a bit of a letdown, considering we had this teaser with a foil on it.

It's tempting to buy the signature set, as the ultimate support to the man, and a play into the investment game. But I now have a baby daughter to raise...

I am not into signatures/autographs, if not for being able to on-sell for more, I wouldn't pay the price of a Rider Backs deck for absolutely any signature of anybody who ever lived (unless you can find me one that looks like a work of art)

I think there are three types of people who buys autographed:

A. Those who idolize too much and treat the autograph being a tangible possession from that person
B. Those who want to support a creator without straight up giving money, but paying for something cool, unique, and limited
C. Those who just look at it as investment for future resale value

I'm B and C in this instance. First time buying a signed something as well.

I think a lot of you fall into B without realizing it, not necessarily being about autographs Uncut sheets, uncut tucks, prototypes, you name it - those are basically junk if you look at the surface level.

I am probably all the options
A - because I am not in the States, where majority all the big names in magic currently resided and perform, so getting the autograph is the only way to get something tangible from the person
B - It's cool for a display piece
C - who knows it might fetch up high price in the next few years
