My Kickstarter rewards from Montenzi's Varius campaign just came in. I have opened one of the decks. It is a Montenzi deck definitely. It is not my favorite or least favorite Montenzi creation. However, even his worst deck in my opinion is better than anyone else's cold foil deck. For some reason, Montenzi just seems to be the only creator that can really get the most out of Cartamundi's cold foil process. I just wish these were gilded, so I would be completely blinded in bling.

I see no evidence of an opened deck, therefore I don't know what to believe! Lovely box

I didn't think the platform could handle the bling. I tried to cut it down as much as possible, but even so...

hsbc or someone else will have to do this deck justice.

What is the top left deck? The design looks different from the other three.....? Is it just the lighting?

Thanks BTW, this deck is one of my favorites (top 2). In this project, my ranking is the following: 1st Classic (35%), 2nd Teal (33%), 3rd Purple (32%).
Back designs: 1st Teal (36%), 2nd and 3rd Purple and Classic (32%)

My rewards from Successor finally made it down the road. I didn't go all in, so no Sarcophagus and no PRISM deck. That said, this was still a bit north of $300, so it was still a steep package even without those extras and just seven decks.

I did add on the uncut tucks as they really did look nice.


My Monarch did have some slight smudges as previously reported by others, but what a stunning package. Great job on it TGW. I did open an extra Imperial deck. I am glad you went with Cartamundi. They did a phenomenal job. I know they are not cheap, or fast. However, I do think they are the best major playing card manufacturer out there.

A few things in my mailbox.

Lorenzo had a recent sale of stuff, so I picked up my third display case. I think I will use this one for my EOTO2 Patreon deck. I also picked up seven signed cards. The price was great, so why not? Also a couple of other uncut tucks and a feather for for my cap, and a pin as the cherry on top of the order.

I have two Patreon accounts with Gio. This was my small package, but some really nice goodies. I did open my Midas deck. Lots of bling and no bowing. I think WPCC did a great job on this deck. I don't know if this will make it to card night though. It seems a bit too much for card night.

The rest of my TWI order came in, so here is the family shot:

You need to be careful. If you touch those Midas decks to other ones, they turn into more Midas decks.

Correct. I had a 1x EB reward with a slightly better monthly rate. I then added a Massive Sword of the Conqueror awhile back. I kept trying to buy extras and just felt it would be cheaper in the long run if I just went with adding this patreon reward and spent less on extra TWI stuff. I am not sure I have cut back on my extra TWI purchases as I had thought. Still, I think TWI patreon rewards provides some of the best value Gio offers. This does mean that I have two Patreon accounts. Thirdway is the only group for which I use two Patron accounts.

I do have a fourth pin, but already gave that to one of my kids that loves them.

I only have one TWI patron account but I do have two S17 accounts. One is Aces, the other Queens just to get more decks.

My TWI Phantasm (Phantom Box plus a few things) and the Damokles (Octogon).

Below is my package I received from Jocu from the Patron's stuff as well as the Under the Moon rewards. I also got one of the limited Onda decks.

I also thought it worth noting that Jocu went a little above and beyond with the half=brick box. They also included this nicely printed card stock to support the bottom. I think this is the first time I have seen anyone do this. I really appreciate the little things they add to make it just a bit more nice.


And last but not least, I really liked the squirrel in Under the Moon (for some reason).

I had a bit of a challenge getting this sorted out, but it is finished now. I had the opportunity to pick up a lot of the Redemption III decks from Lotrek as they just didn't sell out for a long time. I think a lot went for the Redemption II decks, but I liked Redemption III. For a Lotrek foiled deck priced at 30 euro each, that just seemed too good a bargain, so I was totally on board. My initial order of two or four was slowly increased to what you see below. I also received my Golden Rule decks as well. I really liked how the Golden Rule turned out.

One thing that is interesting for me is the great handling of the Redemption III deck. The foil really feels more like Cardamundi's cold foil than any hot foil deck I have handled. It is one of my favorite decks right now to fondle...err handle.

Redemption III is definitely a bang-for-your-buck deck. It's so beautiful seeing that many of them, and to think these aren't even the final versions. I thought me having 4 was a lot

Backup the truck Gus! One way to keep a release scarce have Bradius order a brick, or crate or maybe a pallet. That is impressive!!! Makes me want to go see if there are any left and buy my own brick, but I already loaded up on Redemption IV got my full allocation of six. I really like the Teal and Silver foil.

Redemption III are gone now, but they were around for a long time. I ended up ordering mine in waves. It was easier for me to manage as well that way. At one point I was like "Well, I am already in for seven, I might as well get a brick plus one." At least that is how my weird logic went down. Even so, it is only 2.2% of the total. I just noticed I also have 2.2% of all Ambassador Silver Players decks. I actually have 5% of all Oath Prototypes and 4% of all Ambassador Platinum decks in the wild. I think my only Lotrek bricks are Moresque Patrons, Fable Craft and the Redemption III decks. All of those were fairly reasonable by Lotrek standards.

Now that you mention Redemption IV, I hadn't really thought about it, but 35 Euro for a nicely gilded Lotrek deck isn't that bad. I had decided my limit of 2 Icon Celestial decks was fine. At 45 euro each, that beat a bit of a hole in my wallet. However, I might go to the limit for the Redemption IV's...I will need to think about picking up another 3. My wallet is already hurting from that first order of 2/2/2.

Lotrek will keep the limits on for awhile to try to make sure all Patron's get a shot at them. However, after a while, he might lift the limit if it doesn't sell out. I expect that will happen.

You might remember that Sanctus didn't sell out for a LONG time. I even picked up a second one when he had them on sale for 60 euro each. I beat myself that I didn't get more....

Yes I remember that, couldn't believe it either it is one of my favorite tucks from Lotrek at the time, still is. I originally think I got 4, traded a couple. Should have picked up more at the time.

I was not collecting when the Sanctus decks came out but have bought them over time and I am up to 5.

Gio recently ran a scratch and dented sale. You buy a brick of his surplus scratched and dented decks for a flat price for 100 euro with discount, including shipment. It is a random selection, so you don't know what you are getting. I was totally game and ordered a brick. Gio was shocked when they sold out in like a few hours (less?). He found a few more bricks and they sold out really fast. He mentioned we would get a bunch of Damokes, because they had a lot of damaged decks, and we probably might get a fantasma duplex(!!!). Well, in addition to the fantasma duplex (that looks pristine to me), I received an eva white rose, heartless abyss, eva celeste, three Midas decks and five Damokes. A few of the Damkles were bit up a bit and a couple of the Midas decks had some decent dings. However, most of the rest were really minor dings at worst. Now I just beat myself I didn't get more bricks. Hopefully others will post what they received.

Got the same except for an extra Fantasma and Eva Noire. Have seen similar on fb. Great deal and now I have some decks to actually open.
