Back when I was a kid we could only play cards in the daytime and shuffling was very difficult since they were all just rocks - luckily someone invented paper and fire along the way.

Tom Bombadil is a kid to me.

I fainted a little there but I've recovered now.

Some Elaine Lewis bits - boxes just arrived from across the pond, Xmas cards I picked up a few weeks back. In the boxes are two puzzles and a keychain - posting pics shortly when assembled…

It is amazing how decks are like an invasive species, they just crowd everything else out and overflow onto every available surface.

It’s Murphy’s law that you never have enough room for decks - at least that’s what my neighbor claimed when I tried to annex his rec room to put cards in, and his name is Murphy - silly law in my opinion…. Where does he expect me to store them? In his shed?

I call to the stand every surface of my room, as victims to this phenomenon.

Don’t really consider this part of the card collection and it lives in the magic book pile, but as these types of cards never get the slightest bit of respect (and deservedly so, as they come in a long accordion strip with perforations to tear them apart…)

But perhaps they deserve their 5 seconds of fame - as this Mark Wilson book is a tiny gem, and can still be had for under 5 bucks on Amazon

I’ve had it forever - might have picked it back up along the way out of nostalgia. Tricks are child’s level obviously.

Since I’ve taken the magic side trip, I have acquired a few magic coins along the way - and I doubt I’m done acquiring, but they will need to invent something new first

Lots of detail on these - really need to click on them for a good view:

The extra scenic aces are beautiful. Not all Four Corner packs have them. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, the reverse on your pack is also decorative.

Backs are pink on mine - I include the pics for non-solid backs, but I should probably include them all…
