From a business standpoint, he would risk a lot of losses that way. He's better off refunding those who want to and then when he's done printing, people can purchase the extra stock at retail cost vs. the preorder price.

Unless he offers those who preordered a special discount code to input. Even then, knowing human behavior it would be risky.

I think that less people will be canceling than sticking, and all that money moving back and forth costs money and leaves room for someone who ordered to miss the reorder.

If you desire a refund, he has a standing offer as far as I know

My thought exactly, lol. Just adds administrative tasks for Alex and will definitely lose him orders, since some will sure as hell forget to re-pre-order.

Aren’t the 2020 NPCCD, Alex shown the artworks of the courts and the backs so we know what to expect?

I don't mind a short wait. Kickstarter campaigns for decks takes about a year, maybe less. With Blind Tiger, are we expected to wait another year...two years?

Blind Tiger is estimated to be delivered around October. So a full year. In the grand scheme of things, it's been similar to a Kickstarter project timeline.

Thanks! I must have mis-read some of the posts here. I was under the impression that after his personal time away, he was working on his earlier decks first. Then get working on Blind Tiger but might need some help.

If you don't want to wait then you're well within your rights to ask for a refund. I just disagreed with the idea that it would be better to cancel every order and start again, especially when many of us are happy to wait.

Yea no way I'm going to re-preorder something again because what if somebody doesn't get it the second time? I'll just wait it out and if I don't like then...

Future preorders really need to be looked at when delays such as this are happening

The support the community has given Alex/Seasons is blindly overlooked upon on his part.

Here comes October ‘23 with nothing but a invoice to show for it

Someone may want to add this project to the other deadbeat projects that never came to fruition

To be fair, he has shown nothing in advance so having nothing delivered is true to the theme.

Chances of this delivering in the next 10 days seem low. Anyone heard anything new about this deck or limbo? I emailed a few weeks ago for updates and never heard back

Another non-transparent creator is not a good sign considering how late everything is

complete silence from something that was supposed to be an anniversary event for collectors has now come to an end it seems

Obviously something is going on when Alex doesnt make the 52+ convention that he was a staple to every year

Seeing that Nazo Nazo just delivered and involved Alex I’m not especially worried at the moment.

As for “something going on”, there were some pretty serious family health issues he was dealing with (forgive me if I misremember the particular type of awful, as there have been more than a few creators, friends and family with their own awful over the past couple of years) - and I do not believe they have gone away, they are just “more under control” at the moment. Should anyone have updated news that all is well, please share…

Also remember that this is “Blind Tiger” theme, said that we WONT be seeing how it looked like until they arrive on our front door. Maybe this is just the theme still taken into motion.

Still no signs on Limbo, despite it is not the “trust him” theme

I messaged him about it and the "Blind" Tiger excuse is ridiculous. You can inform backers where you are in the fulfillment process i.e. printing, shipping, etc. without divulging details about the artwork.
