What is she holding in her left hand (on our right)?
It looks like the symbol for Woman, but with a triangular head - and I'm not quite sure what to make of that...
Several of the courts are holding alchemy symbology in their hands. Not sure what this one represents.
Edit: looked it up. I think it's the alchemical symbol for sulphur.

So, in wine there is truth along with sulfur. Soooo, in wine there is truth, and it often stinks? Or are we talking about the sulfites that are used in wine making to prevent oxidation?

Dunno man. I'm a rum and whiskey guy.
Reading more on it, Sulphur is the "omnipresent spirit of life".

By the way, chach, your sig line (aka "el Guapo") always makes mr think of my first wife's father, a wonderful man known to all his grandchildren (and so, to his children and their spouses) as Papa.
Papa was at our house one night when we we all watched the film "
The Three Amigos" on television.
When the actor portraying the character in the film who was called "El Guapo" first came on screen, Papa - whose first language was Spanish - about fell out his chair laughing!
I do not speak Spanish, so he had to explain the joke to me:
For the other non-speakers-of-Spanish, the Spanish word
Guapo is an adjective roughly the equivalent tothe English slang words "hunky" or "studly", meaning very sexually attractive, in a masculine way ("
Guapa" is the feminine equivalent in Spanish). And, for a character to be named
El Guapo implies that he is the very
epitome of a hunk or stud.
So, when we finally see the man everyone has been referring to as "
El Guapo" in the film, only to find that he is this short, scruffy & stout middle-aged man, Papa found it absolutely hilarious.
A few years later, when I worked at a place where three of the other programmers referred to themselves, collectively, as "The Three Amigos", I insisted that they call me "
El Guapo", which made them laugh almost as much as Papa had when we had watched the the film that night.

LOL. Yep that's exactly why I have that in my sig line, I have zero game and am about as handsome as Clint Howard. That and I'm a fan of The Three Amigos. One of my favorite movies as a kid.

Ouch!
Clint Howard?! Come on, you can't be
that bad!
I mean, I'm middle-aged, scruffy and stout (although I'm not short), but I'm NOT Clint-Howard-ugly!
That and I'm a fan of The Three Amigos. One of my favorite movies as a kid.
I'm guessing you're around the same age as my kids (29,31 & 32), because it was one of theirs too, back in the day (That,
The Care Bears Movie and
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure were always on, and the VHS copies worn to a frazzle).

"Guapo" in Tagalog also means "handsome." Though I guess that's not surprising as the language was heavily influenced by the Spanish. "Guapa" also means beautiful, but I think the term, "maganda" is used more often (as far as I know, "maganda" isn't a Spanish word... Or is it?).

Nope.

We have quite a repertoire on how to address a lady, ranging from sweet to slap on the face. Maganda is definitely not in there though.

Any chance the Noctis will have matching dark courts as well?

Just getting better and better, isn't it? I can't wait until Lorenzo hits the big green button: he's hard at work and I'm picking the gnats off one at a time.

Since many have already seen it, and I was supposed to do the spade courts, we'll do those as well: (Lorenzo can kick my arse tomorrow)

Me, too - I've got the other suits, but Lorenzo wants to take his time. I was only supposed to show the spades and I misinterpreted what he wrote before he dozed off to sleep. Oh, well - it's not like I haven't screwed up before. Check your private mail in a few, buddy!

Nice nonetheless!

Simply amazing. Another project I will be getting a brick of. Not to mention an Uncut sheet.
PS... If Jackson Robinson, Paul Carpenter, Alexander Chin, RJ Tomlinson and the other great designers don't stop with all of these beautiful cards someone is going to have to replace my drool damaged keyboard!

This has got to be one of my favourite decks for the year, and there are really so many great deck releases this year. This works the theme to perfection. Brilliant work Lorenzo !

Heresy, we both say! There's no "Suicide King", the Jacks are all Jills, the KoD & KoH switched weapons and all sorts of goodies we haven't detailed yet - exactly, but - you ain't seen nothing yet. There's a reason he picked that name!

since I do not design the deck during the campaign, I´m already on the 3rd one... even if it´s just in the concept-phase
spoiler alert: the 55th card will be decided by the backers (gaff card of course, if blank or double black or something else)
spoiler alert: there is more ahah

Shhhh... Let them guess a little. We're going to set the Playing Cards world on its heels!
There's a key element here everyone is missing. Let's see, in Asia it's Chi, here it's Key, maybe in Europe it's XI? Oh, damn - that was Rome...
