A few people have asked about Pips on cards aand using all twelve of my fish for courts. I have put together some initial rough mock ups of these to see if it really does improve the deck. Any thoughts?

Completely skipped my mind that there were no pip cards. I like the red suit with the filled in red pip and dark border.
And could you try the dark suits with the clear border? OR maybe even white.

I like that. I prefer pips cards and unique courts. I like the last pips. I still think that the red could be less pink. I still hope it will be funded. If not, I will be there on the relaunch.

@Pixel - That is a nice embellished AoS. I still find it fascinating your indices are white, but you still made it work. I can't find any other examples. You can't be the only one who has tried this. Most inventions are just reinventions.
Watch your pips. Your 7oC doesn't match your pip placement in the 9oH. Something needs to be turned around. Usually the pips are right side up on the top part of the card while the pips are upside down on the bottom of the card.

Hey everyone - 81% today WOW the power of the Ace of spades right there.
Yes I would seriously sit down and lay out the pips in a serious pip laying session of exactness. If I decided to go with this, but as it stands I just quickly mocked them up. Hmmmm just had a bump up to 81% so it could be risky territory changing the design so drastically now.... Would most folk feel the same I wonder. The best I can do is mention it in an update and see what the feedback is but certainly the ace of spades has landed.

Am I being contrary now?

You could try a poll on survey monkey. But you're right. A drastic change could be risky.

Yesterday maybe not but were 80% now...... bit scared ha ha. I would hate to show disrespect to my supporters with such a large transformation and the pack would no longer demonstrate the prize fish hierarchy from stickleback 2 to Wels Catfish - the Daddy and the KING!

I'm going to ask this b/c I do get a little tense when I see large leaps in project funding but who is the new big spender? This project miraculously had a boost sometime today, according to kicktraq, of nearly £2000. Please don't think that I don't want this project to succeed, I'm just a little skeptical about this sort of things, especially after the other fiasco. I just wanna make sure everything is on the up and up.

Hey there. Yes don't worry, I know exactly who the investor is....They will be able to sell their stock and can afford this support. This is not the first game I've built, I work full time freelance designing games & books, and my colleagues try to visit conventions with products we've made because... its fun as hell. So kindly some of the concept designers I know have offered large support and will take this with them next year. It did choke me a little when it was offered - I must have done something right in my previous work...

Very pleased!

The cthulhu decks by dann kriss. He claimed he didn't collect enough to ship all the rewards for 2 campaigns.
It's also been known for a project creator(s) to help fund their own projects.

Ahh, I see, no I have worked in my fulfilment costs already. I asked for full breakdown to each country from fulfilment centre and broke it down into scenarios. Then I made sure I covered the worst. I had a solid week of maths. But I have already organised game shipping in the past, obviously Legends is new territory for me but there's so many decent accounts of them, and they appear to be openly trusted and also responsible for some great decks.

I think the art of this project is quite good. It's obvious you're a talented artist. I think the newer pips are much better than the original vision.
Unfortunately, this project has been a WIP from the beginning, instead of one true vision and put it on Kickstarter. In addition, the talk of coins and changes throughout the thread after you went on Kickstarter didn't inspire confidence from the beginning, especially on your first project. It's much better to do one project well, and get it funded, under your belt and get everyone the 2nd time around with coins etc.
I'm not a fan of the double fish hook. I think the cards would look much nicer without them. More things to add...it would be nice to have a "special" Ace of Spades compared to the other Aces. The number cards look much better with the pips, instead of the fish.
I guessing you learned a lot through the process, so whether the deck funds or not, I think you can treat it like a success.
I would love to see your take on a traditional deck with traditional courts, with fishy jokers etc! Good luck with the remaining days. I looks like it's going to be close whether or not the campaign will be funded. If it doesn't, you might want to consider my feedback and what others have said.

Hi, Thanks for your kind words...
I'm not sure how to say it but most of your feedback is covered already. There is already an embellished Ace of Spades which was released as an update a few days ago, but was designed before the launch, it has also been included in this thread and fed back on so you didn't need to see the project to catch this. I have already tried some pips but they are not for use on this project, again just through popular request and for next time round if required . I know you can order an extra 500+ separate edition decks with Legends so I could have offered the special edition pip pack as a stretch goal, but it would really spoil the fish hierarchy I have going on as they are ordered from 2 - king for a reason (fish based prize worthiness).
I would not change the project so drastically halfway through as it disrespectful to my backers (you can see they have not been added to the actual Kickstarter page) its just nice to hear the unitedcardists comments (this is also mentioned above). The coins I made through request from others also, and have actually sold some already.
It is pretty good to add features throughout the project and Kickstarter itself recommends that you do this so I'm not sure I wholeheartedly agree with you on that one. Thanks for your feedback though, everyone has their own opinion about such thing but please ensure you check updates before commenting because a lot of your feedback is obsolete. The project is not really a WIP because all changes were made before the launch, to be fair the only change has been to the orientation of the corner indices the rest has been maintained as it was.
But as you say about the the process - yes it has been a success whether it funds or not because I have taken so much great info away and had carefully considered comments from all kinds of people from different communities. It has its own kind of excitement and yes a wealth of stuff taken away from the experience on the whole.

Yes I've tried to find some also, Using negative space is a good idea for this particular design and its always nice to try something different.

Less than £900 to go and 4 days remaining. For the love of cod, this is not the time or the plaice to get tight fishted. Even if your not going to use them, buy them for the halibut, because they will leaving you breaming from ear-to-ear. Mullet over
