I DQ'd myself to start with, and Donna meant to do so, remove her from consideration for prizes. Heck, I didn't do bad myself this time.

The most requested category asked for we don't already do was "Best New Artist", and we will add that next year, and maybe a few others. Any ideas will be discussed and maybe even voted on so we truly reflect the will of the participants.

Thanks to Lorenzo for the "Lucid Lime" themed graphic even when he was busy as hell.

Again, thank you all for making this contest great!

Congratz everyone and a HUGE thanks to Kai for tallying up all the votes and calculated everyone's score!

Mine appears to be correct with 39 points, but I couldn't catch a break on those I was on the fence over. Each time I flipped the coin wrong and the one I decided to go with wasn't the proper one and if I would have went with the opposing choice I would have had 58! Lesson learned, never look at what could have been.

I don't think my actual points will be enough, but still this was fun and interesting to see the final results. Thanks to Kai, Mike and those who organized. Plus a HUGE thanks to all prize sponsors, that's a seriously amazing list of prizes.


EDIT - Actually, by my calculations I should get 16th pick which because of the HUGE list of prizes it will be enough! I'm also secretly glad I didn't come in first because those first will have a VERY VERY hard time picking their prize, lots of great options.

With Donna DQing herself, from my calculations, everyone below 45 points moves up one which adds another 31 pointer to the prize pool.

My wife and I sat and looked at "our" decks (I'm the collector) over and over, to finally come up with the following choices... Which yielded all of 12 Points!

And the only choice that was close to being a 5 pointer instead of a 3 pointer, was trying to decide between Clipped Wings and Sawdust for the Best Uncut.

Don't feel like you're out of touch. You chose what You felt was best for each category. It just wasn't the most popular choice. Doesn't mean it was wrong. There were no right or wrong choices. I voted for what I felt was the best in my opinion.

Example: Best pips: I voted for the steel deck by Cardician. Those were the best pips of last year but they weren't popular by choice. I still believe they are the best.

Ade, thank you for helping us push everyone up to a better game these days! Kai did a fantastic job and turned all this around in just a few hours after voting closed. It's a really great thing when you have people who can unload some (a lot!) of the weight from keeping a forum not just going, but exponentially growing!

We're looking forward to what's next. Keep us posted, I know you're not sitting on your fingers.
