I second the notion for more "UC green" on the backs. The teal gradient is beautiful but it doesn't scream "UC" to me.

I love the texture. I don't know if its the way the textured backs are rendered, but at quick glance, they dont "pop" to me. Love the designs, however.

I can agree with the others: your designs are just beautiful, put foil on it and I buy it.

Though I like the borderless designs. While I like the Idea to add UC green, I also agree it does not look much like referencing UC. Maybe it works out if you put some green in the "roses" if that is what the cross thing in the middle represents.

Otherwise, do ya thing and it will look good I think.

Finally, I'll continue working on courts. The back design may be updated. Also, I have other ideas for a second back.

What I really like is a dark background on faces if we go with a borderless design for the back.

I know some of you loves to spend tons of money on something limited. All UC campaigns offered ultra limited and expensive awards.

UC2019 campaign is not an exception But this time it should cost you $0 on top of a deck price (T&C apply).

I plan to use gilding (made by Cartamundi) for the first time for me.


1. First 50-250 backers OR fist day only OR 250 decks, not available after.

2. Three (or six) decks minimum order

3. One out of three (or six) decks will be gilded at no cost

4. Examples for 1+1+1:
3 decks: 1 * std + 1 * ltd + 1 ltd gilded
6 decks: 2 * std + 2 * ltd + 2 ltd gilded
12 decks: 4 * std + 4 * ltd + 4 ltd gilded

5. You can opt out of gilding at survey time

6. I'll consider making a different box for this gilded edition

PROS:

CONS:
* not for everyone

I have no idea how to do it for UC members only. I can only think about it if you find a volunteer (pure guy) who will do ALL THE WORK to link UC member profiles to KS member profiles. At the end of the project, he will send me a list of UC members who backed KS. But I don't have time for this on my own. If you have other ideas please let me know.

There is also a limitation - they print 12 tucks on one sheet, so for 1000 decks, I can print 83 limited tucks minimum (1000/12). But if I print 2000 decks, 166 is a minimum. And it's subject to approval by Cartamundi.

STD vs LTD will be different. One LTD and one gilded LTD ---hmmm. It depends. I don't have an answer.

Just to throw my hat into the ring, I could compile and handle a "UC Backer list". If you wanna keep this idea. Purest guy I know personally .

Keep it simple, I'd say. You could ask for UC username (optional field) as part of backerkit or kickstarter survey.

How? It's against KS rules to sell the same (or accept money) outside KS when the project is live. But I'll think about it. There should be a time frame (one day) or a limited number of decks with "unique" options.

We could contact you here before if this is the case, and could pay you afterwards. After the campaign is not anymore live. Or in front. Which would be ok with their rules I think, since you can also sell the items after the campaign ends elsewhere. If you locate your campaign in Germany, I can pay with bank account, but I doubt this is an option. I'll see, maybe I can manage to arrange a credit card again for that purpose. I did back KS campaigns already in the past, so its not about cheating on them, more like an alternative way if, like me, we don't got a credit card at the time or something like this.

Gilded editions are usually expensive ( +$10 retail in most cases ). It's better than $1 discount or stickers. Yes, it's for first backers only as we need to limit the number of decks.

1. That the deck(s) arrives before New Years
2. Nice UC branding
3. Some sort of perk/UC incentive

Debit cards work fine on Kickstarter. Also, apparently, pre-paid Visa cards.

With DeNova if you put your UC name in you got a "Zorg" court (forgot which card) postcard signed by Rick. I don't think this was done for non-members so I may be wrong.

I can design and produce 12 tuck boxes if you want. But at this moment we have three boxes already, the 3rd box is a tuck swap for gilded edition. I don't think we need one more box for members only.
This project is UC2019, it's made for UC members! Some non-members will back this project as we use KS.

How to make any project UC-only? It's easy! Create a password protected area on UC, hide this project from others. Take orders from UC members only. Print 250 decks and sell them for $xx.

Oh my lord... that green gilding looks sexy!! I'm definitely going for that gilding if that actually indeed becomes an option!!

I definitely do NOT like the idea of a UC "Member's Only" deck for the campaign. I do like having a limited tier as I have always gotten it and enjoyed it. However, I would not go crazy if we didn't have it. Seriously though, I mean ANYONE can register here, so what is the point? Do we need to have been here a certain amount of time or posted a certain number of times to be a "member"?

Okay, I've said my opinion on this matter. Funny, this is my 2,500th post. Hopefully that qualifies me as a UC member by most definitions.

Yeah, the idea isn't that the deck is UC members-only. But, in the past, *sometimes*, there has been a special spiff of some kind thrown in for UC members.

Frankly, I like the idea of one deck gilded free for early backers. And, really, who will know first when the project is launching? UC members, of course!

Maybe they were talking about the UC-Members only tuck idea which came up earlier in this thread.

I agree on not having a specific deck for UC Members since mainly I found this forum through DeNovo campaign, but I like the idea of free gilding for UC-Members, or early backers.


Btw is there a planned date to run this campaign? For example, July August or so or just this year?
