AH, I can't take credit for that - that was a close friend from Bristol. I've learnt as much about my friends in this campaign as I have playing card tips. My buddies have been working hard to promote me in creative ways also, as mentioned I wont go near Facebook, the whole thing worries me, but my friends are spreading awesome puns like this on my behalf... Pretty darn cool.

Thanks for the pledge upgrade Brent, it really helps a lot. My eyes are like pit holes with the lack of sleep in the final countdown.

Now 97% funded - So close...
Not sure if we will hit the coin stretch goal though. I have requested that people adjust their pledge in this case...

I would change my pledge a little to get the uncut but I really don't like the layout of your uncut. I prefer the standard card layout.

Have to agree with this. Grouping each of the 4 same cards together seems to just highlight that they repeat throughout the deck.

@Pixel - What are the three most important cards in the deck. The Jokers and the AoS. I applaud you. You have learned so much so soon. I hope you make your funding your deserve it. I have never seen anyone advance so soon as you. Good Luck... Nice 9X6 uncut sheet.

Hey its all down to the advise and support from people like yourself. Thanks so much its been a blast. It just goes to show you have to listen to others. There's more to come for sure. I will certainly be using pips for future decks though. It been the most popular feedback so far.

Thanks again though, really kind words... I am looking forward to the calm after the storm now though. :ugthink:

Sprouts - why do you consider the jokers two of the three most important cards in the deck? The joker history in playing cards only goes back a little more than 150 years.

They have been around for about 150 years. I like the way you think Stan. I think the Jokers need an upgrade. Why not give them a rank like the FOol in the Tarot cards, but with a Joker in each suit? He could be either High or Low like the Ace. I wish to retire the Ace to low. As in 1. Cards have been around for 600 years. In the first 400 years, the Ace was 1.

Hmmm, interesting info there. It is a really archaic medium isn't it? I generally think of Ace as 1 still but I think I've spent more time designing them then I have using them recently.

I have just 6 hours left now - then a big chilled out Sunday is in order before I begin sending off the art work. Really excited now, still getting pledges even in the final hours....

GOOD NEWS! The Kickstarter funds finally cleared in my account today so it begins. Legends already have all my artwork prepped now. They have been awesome so far. I will be setting the ball rolling tomorrow properly as its new years tonight and I will be going wild in celebration. Thank you to everyone who has participated. I have decided to use a Pearlescent high grade tuck box paper so they will take slightly longer to create and it might be early April in Legends opinion but worth it for the nice finish I believe. At least they were happy to accept and prep artwork before receiving the first deposit, thats speeds things up.

I will send an update through Kickstarter tomorrow.

Thanks again everyone its been a real pleasure so far.....

Hi everyone - Update for Fishing For Compliments.-

I have my digital proofs photos. I will receive them in 3 days time. Thanks for patience.
Here you can see. I have a surprise I chose to use the pearlescent speciality paper for the tuck. This means production is slightly longer and the decks will be ready in April rather then March but, it is so worth it. I will update with more photos when my proofs arrive.

Latest update, can't wait.
The production is now complete for Fishing For Compliments. Thanks you to all those who supported the campaign. I will be receiving photographs from the manufacturer very soon and they will be sent to the distribution centre and packaged and shipped within the next 1-2 weeks.

Please let me know as they arrive, any photos of you and friends playing these cards would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for your support.

Best wishes
Stacey

Hi, thanks for your kind words, I am glad the shipping is going well so far. For my next project I am working with Legends to release 2 new decks. I will share more with you soon as I am finalising the projects as we speak but I do have another personal deck release this year also.
Thanks again for the support so far.
