The zero bidder, a beginner, has thought to put a ginormous top bid in, fatally, because the second joker has just ramped it up as far as he was prepared (!), leaving Mr In-Experienced with a potential wallet whack he is not prepared for.
..... and no-one else is going anywhere near that place.

More likely both accounts belong to the same guy and he was trying to get out of a foolishly large final bid amount that they set under their main account. That way the bogus account won't pay, and the main account doesn't receive negative feedback as a non-payer.

He could have just retracted the bid. I've done that a couple of times. He might be driving up the price because some sellers look up sold/completed listings as a basis for pricing their listings. If this shows up, then maybe some seller out there will think it's actually worth this much and set his price at around the same amount? I don't know.

So this happened. Not saying guys on crack, but something to ponder.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scarlett-Tally- ... 25a51e0255" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
$603.99 final price. And $14.99 shipping. Man I'd even offer free shipping for that amount if I were to sell mine.

That's not going to make getting an Emerald Legacy deck easier now is it?

I saw that auction and watched the last few minutes. The first bid was at $499 and then at the last seconds it jumped at $603. It is astounding some of the money being dropped on some of these decks. It almost makes me want to put mine up for sale at those ridiculous prices

Ummm...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BICYCLE-HERITAG ... 3a79037a79
The same set is being sold on ebay for $10.95 + $6.95 S&H:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-DECKS-Bicycle ... 3a9acd1b17
Am I missing something?!?

I was sort of taken by surprise when I saw who listed the more expensive set.
Hey, at least we have the option for six easy payments of $34!

BMpoker site/ebay/etc is no longer owned by Mike.. it's owned by Gambler's. But the price difference is insane

Ah, good to know - but yeah, that price is nuts. I certainly hope people are not buying them for
that much...

As I have often said, a deck is worth precisely what you can get someone to pay for it. Still - amazing!
Maybe it's time to sell #11 of Lotrek's Venexiana Gold?

So the other day while I was looking at that Scarlett legacy go for over $600, I noticed at the bottom of the ebay page other sales listed and one of them was for the recent Tendril Ascendant limited deck from Paul, the one that was limited to 50 and the one I got myself. It looked like it had sold for $310. It was like wow... It's not ebay sales posted by people on crack but ebay purchases by rich people on crack hehe
Anyway it got me thinking.. Should I sell my only limited deck? yes I only have one but damn for $300 take my deck. I decided to test the waters and started it below $100. The auction ended tonight and I got $290 for the deck. Yes I lost 1 piece of my collection but how can you refuse that money. I still have a few of the tendrils regular deck and I am happy with those. Especially that now they are free and then some

Hey now! Let's not talk about the people who buy these decks for astronomical prices, they one day may buy your decks to make you rich too.

$ 999.99 ??? Is this a joke guys?

Yes it is a joke... Hikeeba had the deck up for sale for $200 then lowered it to $188 with no buyers.. I think he must have gotten an offer for abut $150 which personally I think is way too much but good for him. Not quite sure why he changed the starting bid at $999.. Probably to create the illusion that it sold for much more than it did hehehe
So hikeeba my friend am I close?

Yes - I increased the price to that just before it sold. Wondering if anyone will pull an e and claim it sold for that much. Since it didn't.
Just trollin'......
