Has anyone opened the Black Patrons deck yet?
Interested to see some other photos of the final version so I can decide whether to hunt one down.

I'm curious to see it too.
I have a few photos on my IG of it. I can take more of certain cards if you want to see those too.
Anyone else having issues with the Oath web store? I ordered from them a month ago and never got a shipping notification. Emailed them twice to see if they forgot to send a notification and got no response. Even opened a Paypal dispute where they contacted Oath to no response. I've ordered from Oath a few times and had my fair share of mishaps (wrong items, no shipping notification, delayed responses), but I've never had an order straight up never arrive with no explanation or response back about it.

I never received a shipping notice from Oath for my last order but the product eventually arrived. Fortunately I get notified by USPS when a package has been shipped to me so I could tell Oath sent me something.

This happened on my last shipment. I didn’t get a notice. It showed up maybe 2 weeks after he shipped it. As for contacting him, I have noticed a couple of comments on Patreon asking him to check his email as they had tried to contact him. I personally have had pretty prompt replies, but it does seem as if he sometimes gets busy and is slow to respond. He did mention an issue on the new deck he is printing and that he has been slammed of late. Hopefully he will respond to you soon.

Since it's been relatively quiet here, thought to share my recent addition to the Oath collection. Gold on Gold is my favorite of all Oath Standards released.
Also, Happy Thanksgiving to all celebrating!

Very nice pickup! Black and gold is my favourite but they are both great.

I would prefer Year 2 Patrons decks to be sent out instead of Fragmenta and whatever else is new.
Year 2 Manic Tier is 2 copies of Golden Rule and 4 copies of Royal Patrons. Strange how by having test decks make me not much excited about the final versions. Black Patrons is my favorite by far.

Nice pick up. I only have one Gold on Gold myself. Lotrek was strict on only one Gold on Gold per person. I like the Carat Case they are placed in. It makes a great set together.

I'm so curious what Royal Patrons will be. I imagine foiled court cards, which I'm really excited for. My profile picture is a foiled Golden Rule King.
For GoG, I was fortunate enough to find an unnumbered one. That bag stood no chance against my desire to open it and see the beauty within. I doubt I'll find an affordable duplicate but that's alright.
The decks on sale I believe are 20% off. Some decks are available on the Patrons sale site and some others on the main sale site. It is not a bad opportunity if you wee holding out for a few sheckels lower. Shipping included.

Ended up getting 2 Dynastinae! There is no deck like it out there.
If the tally is right and the stock for Patrons is separate from the public shop, then it looks like Lotrek may have had about 60 or so Dynastinae decks that he had kept in his treasure chest until today.

What's so special about them, in short? Something related to the manufacturing process?

The cards are printed on a green stock and the gold hot foiling seems to shine uniquely on this one. The latter may be subjective, but the shade of green stock is beautiful to me. Since Lotrek oversees printing directly, he has a history of trying out different stocks for playing cards that other printers do not.
You can see it here around the 13 minute mark:

TOTT Dynastinae is the most disappointing deck I have ever received. The tuck is great but the colouring on the cardstock is so radically different that I don't like it at all.

A great example of different strokes for different folks. Love that we can be different in these ways. I'm shocked and accepting at the same time.

Interesting. My choice was to pick up another Mystery III Craft deck. It is a stunning deck for me. To each their own. Glad both were on sale.

Tbh, I thought the Mystery III Craft was the best deal out of all of them. Well done.

Definitely. No matter the artist I never support tuck colours not matching cardstock unless there’s a very conscious decision to do so.
I recall the video with Omar and Wyrmwood for Corrupted (I think) and he shows them ToTT Dynastinae and I distinctly remember the visceral reaction. I believe they say it’s ugly. I do tend to agree with them unfortunately. I was really hyped for it during the campaign and disappointed with the end result.

Is that the deck with the very strange green stock that is very inconsistent in color and almost looks like water damage or foils/inks damaging or bleeding through? Been so long that I only remember vaguely.

I found the stock is stiff, and the first ToTT Dynastinae I got... got flaws on the KoH - one of the indices fail to show the gold outline. I guess this is one problem of hot foiling - inconsistencies.

I pulled my copy out along with the ...whatever Omar calls the black edition.
the stock isn't that much firmer than the base stock, but I would say its fair to say firmer...but in the above quote about the stock matching the tuck, I dont get that issue, there is nothing black about the stock nor does that black tuck even have the back on it. Is the stock green different from the tuck green? yes
It's a lotrek set of courts printed with foil on green stock, if anything it suffers like mystery III did (?) with the colors of the courts being too muted, but the foil work is great as usual and really stands out from the standard deck as a result.

It's not that there is a "problem" with the green per-say. My only point was that the inconsistency between the stock and the tuck was too drastic and it doesn't look good to me. I would have preferred a darker stock to match the tuck or just ink printed on white for consistency.
I am not sure that the foil work elevates it that much. I always found the Wylenti version to be the most pleasing, personally.

For the price it was the Wylenti edition is amazing.
Wish I had more than one as the price it was on KS, I’ve wanted to gift it a few times.

I too am a fan of the Wylenti, the only knock on it is the foil imprint transfer to the faces

I think was for free and/were selling for $7? It was very nice. The gold TOTT treasure deck was ok. I guess I'm not a gold on gold back card fan.

Judging from the teaser on Instagram, I’m really digging the final Mystery III. Can’t wait to get it in my hot little hands!

I've taken Wylenti to a bachelor party and played poker. I do love the intricate foil design on the border and it's one of the most bang for your buck decks upon release.
