Um. He's crazy. He watches a movie, spots the most minor of printing aberrations and thinks it is a message about a 40 year black hat conspiracy? Bonkers.

Mike may find this one interesting being that in the item description about these cards and the CIA.
Yep, yep - definitely "Possible CIA Communications" going on there - with CIA = "Crazy, Idiotic Arse" as best I can tell. WTH? There's absolutely NO basis at all for claiming this is anything except an old deck of advertising cards, the ones that sell for 99 cents at Goodwill.

Right... Then again, you WOULD say that, wouldn't you, Mike? :ugthink:

My thoughts exactly except that I don't see a printing aberration. The 9 of Hearts is upside down. Turn it around and it looks the same as the others. Also, for 5K you'd think he would spring for free shipping.

I thought that at first , but the back is one-way giving the face a definable alignment - and in that sense the 9oH is misaligned with the back design.

How much would YOU pay for a deck of Citizens playing cards? T11 says $9.95. 52playingcardproductions says different.

Blue Saturn, Red Saturn and Honeycomb: Starts at $250 BIN: $500

Considering the Honeycombs are still available at the avanth site for $25 (and the red saturns for $15), the judges have determined that this listing has been posted by someone on crack.

Where does this guy (jcmagic) get his over priced listings from.

For a deck that sold for $55.00, I'm not sure why he would think it's value on this deck is worth 4X that now. Is it because it's #2 of 50???

Buy It Now for $200.00

http://www.ebay.com/itm/162052446201?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

He's also got a few others within his profile that seems absurd to say the least, but this one tops it...

And another....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Magna-Carta-Sea ... Sw3mpXKA0w

For a campaign that listed a half mural (3 decks) @ $60 plus adding a silver gilded deck for $35, how does this guy justifying the $250 Buy it Now price..

Someone should let this guy know (Justin aka.JCMAGIC) that inflation doesn't go up X3 times from the original price after campaigns.

If anyone is interested, here is the complete list of OVERPRICED decks he sells:

This is hardly a listing for anyone on crack..
He is offering the Gold Gilded deck in the listing which was sold out during the campaign, and it was limited to 500 decks, this deck alone could go for the price of the all set.

So once again the old UC saying comes to place: "A deck is worth the exact value that one is whilling to pay".

Technically it's not an eBay post. Maybe we should have a thread for "Playing cards sales by retailers on crack".

Came across this one, thought I'd give the UC members a little laughter for a Friday afternoon.

Find it a little odd for that amount ESPECIALLY when it's missing the two most wanted decks from this series.

Enjoy!

That's just the current offer or Buy It Now price, we have yet to see a completed transaction to see where the bid/offer prices coincide and thus set the market. Will be interesting to see what the market decides on though.

I would expect this to value around $200/$250 based on the crown editions, and seal editions of S17's previous projects. KS price rarely matters at all for aftermarket

It'll be interesting if UC members post the highest price they've paid for a deck on ebay and which deck it was if they wanna tell....

For me, Bicycle Draw Like A Boss was like $80 something.
