Psh. Giving Amy a gift for her "services". She should be gifting us for giving her a place to waste her time, and people to waste her time with!
She's done an okay job with this, I suppose. If you tell her that she's done a great job then she's just gonna up and leave us for another forum...

95% of what I convey is done so with sarcasm, Tom. C'mon!
In this case, 100% of what I posted was done so sarcastically.

When I post, I do so with a sarcastic tone. Obviously, you're not reading it in a sarcastic manner. Not your fault. We haven't created emotional text yet lol.

I had posted that I was hoping to donate two different bricks this year, and I already posted pictures of the first brick. I have been working on this second brick for many years now, but unfortunately it will not be ready for this year's contest. Hopefully I will be able to put everything together by next year, so only the one brick for this year's contest.

I don't see my donation on this thread but here you go.
One hand painted (and very special) Ganjifa card with frame. (w/o frame option can also be done to reduce shipping cost) - Picture to be shared soon.
Shipping within Australia on me but will expect shipping cost to be borne by the recipient outside Australia.
Happy New Year everyone....

Yea, I think when we opened the first thread about the DOTYs, it sorta was an initial dumping ground for both donations and discussion in how to run this year's DOTYs and, because of that, it was starting to get a bit difficult to keep track of who donated what in trying to weed through all the discussion stuff; so we separated the two topics into one
only for discussions and this one
only for prize donations but I didn't move over the previous donations from that one to this one - sorry!
Anyways, you had commented before to donate a brick of SE Kalevala
here and I was sure to add it to the prize giveaway list on the official thread - would you like to also add this awesome Ganjifa card to that donation?? or change the donation completely? it's totally up to you and we're all incredibly appreciative of your support regardless

IIRC, your donation was one of the first to go last year and this one just might top it

Thanks a million, Sunish!
Either way, I'll be sure to make a note about shipping
. . . . .
Which reminds me; to all others that have generously offered donations thus far to show support of UC and sponsor this year's DOTYs/prize giveaway contest, please be sure to consider and mention shipping preferences. For those that already have, I've noted it under your donation in the official thread
here.
Take a look and, although it's not an entirely pressing matter to consider at this exact moment, it'd be cool to have it cleared up and stated by the time the contest ends, at the very latest (preferably sooner) so that those who win the chance to pick their prize from the prize pool, can do so without misunderstandings in regards to shipping arrangements - because we all know that shipping can sometimes be a PITA and costly as hell.
So, just let me know either here or through PM - Thanks!

My shipping preference. I'll cover domestic shipping, but will discuss international shipping with the recipient if they are international. Likely they will cover most of the shipping if international, but I will reduce by whatever the domestic shipping would have been.

I'll pay for shipping since it's likely that all 12 decks will be injured upon arrival.

Hmm... thanks PipChick for sharing the old post.
Now, as I have already announced it above, so please change the donation completely as stated above to the Ganjifa card (painting with or without frame).
