My decks came in today as well. My Black and Gold deck is printed correctly. It is just the Black and Silver deck that has the misprint. I wouldn’t have noticed though if it wasn’t pointed out to me. I am not opening these up though, so not sure about the marking system. I might just have blank paper inside!

Only the Black and Silver tuck had the misprint.Bradius wrote:My decks came in today as well. My Black and Gold deck is printed correctly. It is just the Black and Silver deck that has the misprint. Rousselle I guess i am not the only one that does not read the description. In bold letters it does say All prototypes are marked on the backs and come with no instructions
But as far as the same way as the original, I would say yes unless he is coming out with a brand new marking system for his upcoming KS project of which thse are the prototypes
EDIT: On their FAQ you can find this on the second edition which these prototypes were based on
There are some major design improvements in the second edition:
One-way suit markings were improved for visibility.
Two-way markings for Aces and Twos were enlarged for visibility.
Face pips were enlarged to match standard face gaff cards.
One-way feature of the faces was improved for visibility.
A secret third marking system has been added.
The paper stock has been matched to True Linen B9 Finish Standard of Cartamundi for better handling, softness and easier faro capabilities.

If you haven't yet check out Ravn's review @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQRchd9_IQM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I've felt that guilding was overrated for a while now but I think it works really well with this deck!

I didn't know Caroline Ravn had a youtube channel. That is so cool. I enjoyed her review.
I wouldn't worry about missing the prototype decks. I am not opening my one gold and one silver decks. Just jump on the Kickstarter campaign when it comes out or when the final version is ready for sale. Hopefully, the price will be lower.

The thing is I think in Ravns review the deck was guilded but the one that was for sale a few weeks ago was not.

You are correct Half the prototypes were gilded and will be used during the upcoming KS campaign. Half were non gilded 200 of which were sold a few weeks ago on the websiteKT52 wrote:The thing is I think in Ravns review the deck was guilded but the one that was for sale a few weeks ago was not.
Quote from the site same for black and gold
"Only 500 silver foiled prototypes exist. 250 were gilded to test compatibility of gilded edges with the magic features of the deck, and 250 were left non-gilded to compare advantages of both versions. The gilded decks proofed to be functional and will be used to promote a crowdfunding campaign that will launch in Summer 2019. 200 of the non-gilded Black and Silver prototype decks are available for sale and will never be reprinted.
