Re: Vanda Centurion Club + Centurio deck ...

I don't like how the limited decks are set up at all. My solution ... stick with the standard decks.

I think this is what's getting people -- the membership slot on its own doesn't really seem to be worth anything, since you'll still have to pay for each of the nine upcoming decks [MURRAY]davegk wrote:It's true that the cost for this initial deck in the series will be higher because in addition to the decks you're paying for ... the membership slot.
As I mentioned, that's exactly what the member club tier is...you won't have to pledge for any future campaigns—there will be a way to directly purchase each release as a club member. The membership locks in your option to purchase the LE decks for all releases in the series.vasta41 wrote:I couldn't care less about these tiers being discussed and just want 1 of every deck in the series. Is there going to be a tier for that during this campaign or do we have to pledge for each KS one at a time when they are launched?
So a $125 pledge up front right now will get me all the decks in the series? Where I get confused is when you use the word "purchase." I don't want to purchase anything else. For $125 I would expect to be able to own the whole series, no? What am I missing?davegk wrote:As I mentioned, that's exactly what the member club tier is...you won't have to pledge for any future campaigns—there will be a way to directly purchase each release as a club member. $125 gives you everything he listed earlier:vasta41 wrote:So a $125 pledge up front right now will get me all the decks in the series? Where I get confused is when you use the word "purchase." PLUS first dibs on PURCHASING subsequent decks matching your number.- 1 LE Centurio deck (#2-100)
- 1 LE Centurio proof deck (#0)
- 2 SE Centurio decks

That sucks. And Jesus, this is unnecessarily confusing. Screw it, I'll just wait until all the decks are made and buy them in the aftermarket. Which is too bad because I wouldn't mind backing the projects but unfortunately I don't have a PhD to keep up with this. All I want is 1 of each deck. No coins, no special serial number, nothing but the decks. Is that too much to ask?MagikFingerz wrote:$125 gives you everything he listed earlier:vasta41 wrote:So a $125 pledge up front right now will get me all the decks in the series? So the answer to your question is: No, you can't buy one of each in the series immediately.
If you aren't interested in the Limited Edition decks and just want one each of the Standard Decks, then you can wait until the final campaign and purchase them all as a set for ~$190, but that might be a couple years away, depending on how quickly we're able to create the rest of the series. All I want is 1 of each deck. No coins, no special serial number, nothing but the decks. Is that too much to ask?
So we won't be able to order the Standard Decks during each of the KS campaigns?davegk wrote:If you aren't interested in the Limited Edition decks and just want one each of the Standard Decks, then you can wait until the final campaign and purchase them all as a set for ~$190, but that might be a couple years away, depending on how quickly we're able to create the rest of the series. All I want is 1 of each deck. Yes, you can order them individually as well during each campaign but he was asking specifically about ordering the whole set at once.brownsl wrote:So we won't be able to order the Standard Decks during each of the KS campaigns?davegk wrote:If you aren't interested in the Limited Edition decks and just want one each of the Standard Decks, then you can wait until the final campaign and purchase them all as a set for ~$190, but that might be a couple years away, depending on how quickly we're able to create the rest of the series. All I want is 1 of each deck. Correct...the lowest number you can receive in that tier is #2. If the #1 tier is unclaimed then those decks will most likely end up at auction on our website later on.irtjames14 wrote:I am personally digging these decks, and have real high hopes for the series! Ready to snag up a member tier. Too bad the #1 tier is reserved for its own tier at $40 higher price, but with an extra proof deck.. Ah oh well..
@davegk - If a person is the #1 backer for the entire campaign, but chooses the $125 member tier, that person will be locked for #2 number, correct? The numbers will be shifted down by 1 until the backer in the #1 tier is accounted for?
Cool thanks!davegk wrote:Correct...the lowest number you can receive in that tier is #2. Correct. We may try to include low serials on those to club member rewards (#101-300)...perhaps even match your member number (so member #32 would receive LE deck #32 and SE decks #132 and #232)BaconWise wrote:It looks like two standard decks come with the membership tier. How will those be numbered? Just random above 101?
Thank you. Then subsequent releases will be $99 for #2-100 and maybe $125 for #1?davegk wrote:Correct. That's all I want, so I will wait. Nice! as I have some personal connections with #5, I wouldn't mind receiving all decks with a #5 on themirtjames14 wrote:I think the one that went for the #1 tier was #2 or 3 backer, as by the time I returned to the funding page, the #1 tier was taken along with 2 slots on the $125 tier (one of them being myself).
