Well, as sad as it is, you have to basically become a sniper or a whale to win an eBay auction. Just the way it works out.

I saw all the watchers and didn't want to see it just sit there like that for 10 days, so I kicked it up to $22.22 (I like the repeated digits thing....)

As for USPCC Customer Service - not even a name at the end, just repeating what I already had mentioned: "While we certainly appreciate your interest in our Celebration Deck, this product is not currently available. Like many companies we do create promotional/incentive items for our own use. This deck was created for our events this year to celebrate joining Cartamundi and was not set up as a commercial product for sale."

Maybe better luck with Cartamundi......

Same here. I've spent a small bit more than that on cards, but it was for a special hard to find brick. These two decks are cool and all, but they are not Lotrek cool.

that set is definitively not worth that... could be a pair of jokers just driving up bids and waiting to the end to pull out. Used to be an old tactic where 2 bidders would drive up the price very high and then pull out all their bids to make someone win at a decent price . let's see where this goes

As far as I know, it is not legal. At least here in Germany. I don't know if you still can pull your bit out. Just in the case if your account got hacked or else.
For other regions I can't say. But back in 2005 or so it was a normal way to drive the bidding a bit up.

Bidders can retract their bids. In fact, r1(104) (aka tf(104)) has had two bid retractions over the last 6 months.
(Geez, I hope they don't both retract. I don't want to actually have to pay $65.66. I just did it to see all those 6s.....)
