Thanks for posting this, I had no idea he was doing a V2. I remember a year or two ago I messaged him asking him if he would ever do a reprint and he said he'd think about it. Glad to have this on its way to me.

There are of course plenty of other similar Chet decks available on Etsy
It is all about the card faces but despite being Aussie, I really do not like the green and gold card backs And I really am a backs collector

Anybody that loves Chet's work would appreciate Reg Mombassa, a New Zealand-born Australian artist and musician. He is a founding member of the band Mental As Anything. The type of artwork he designs for the Mambo fashion label is almost cartoonish and in vivid colours, incorporating religious, political and popular culture themes. The "Mambo artist" primarily refers to Reg Mombassa and dates back to the 80's. I attach one but it is too hard to choose as like Chet there are 100's to choose from

I was lucky to find a deck of V1 a few months back on eBay. Paid a premium for it, but at the time it was unknown if there was ever going to be a reprint. But now I'm glad I splurged because of the artwork changes. Just ordered V2, so I'll have both editions.

I’m still looking for the deluxe version of the v1 - one of the few remaining on my must have list ;)

I would buy V1 as I prefer their backs

About the first issue: I wasn't aware there was a standard version. What's the difference between the standard and deluxe versions?

Deluxe has different box - standard looks like matchbox, deluxe is matchbox.

Having trouble upload images at the moment…

Only the deluxe versions are numbered from what I recall.

The Biblioluminous deck had a deluxe edition for $125, which had the tuck in an outer book tuck. Edition of 25. Seen here: viewtopic.php?p=222407#p222407
Imaginary Friends came in a wooden box for $50. Edition of 25, seen here: https://portfolio52.com/deck/24254/view Two still available here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1494336875 ... easel-with

I like his cards and bought them all except the deluxe versions. I never have felt they justified their cost, not even remotely.

I like his cards too but they are not a must have. I would definitely grab matchbox V1 if I could but I am not devastated that I cannot - I think this is because when I look through his hundreds of prints for sale, there isn't actually one that I would buy to put on a wall

Certainly more than one I could go for, if I had a bit more wall…. I actually think I might have just enough bare patch o wall for a small one…
