If you order 12 Altruism decks, you get a Snow Owls deck free! Only 2500 Snow Owls were printed.

Yeah I am a sucker for this. I bought 12 to get that free one. plus shipping was same as 2 decks. I can always unload a few decks later

I went for a brick as well. With the coupon at the end of the live launch session it was a good deal.
The shipping was reasonable priced as always with the blue crown.
My guess is that this deck is printed on bicycle stock with magic finish.

Now the letdown was,that they used standard court cards with the color sheme of aristocrat decks.
Gold metallic ink is used on the courts if i understood Alex correctly.
The Altruism deck will ship on October 19th...so do not panic!

In about 12hrs the Madison Madness will begin on T11 site....lets see what they got to offer.
I'm off to bed now...its nearly 5am here in germany.

I want one of these. However, $9 to ship one deck is basically criminal. I know for a fact they could control that cost differently. (I am building a new encarded.com right now with the same system. )

Boo. I really like that deck but that is just dumb. Essentially that $7 deck is actually about $13-14 with the extra they are working into the shipping. Not worth it.

You're right, that does seem to be the case. How odd!

Hey guys! We're really excited to share the Altruism decks with you all!

The video should now be working for everyone. There was a little glitch in the file with the original upload, so we've just swapped it over, and it should be fine now!

There are major differences between the leaked images and the actual decks. The leaked ones were made by Hydro on his own, with a totally different color scheme. The production decks are black with a metallic copper/gold on the tuck, and the Snow Owl is totally black and white. While the overall design is pretty much the same, there are some additional tweaks and changes.


I would advise folks to get in early on this deck. There may be certain "time-sensitive" features that you could otherwise miss out on. Also, as you examine and use the deck, keep your eyes peeled. As we've been saying, secrets are everywhere.

You may also not want to share things you find publicly or with friends. You might create competition for yourself....

So.. are both tuckboxes black? or one is black.. and one is white. (like in the prototype pic)

They are similar to the ones in the leaked image. The regular Altruism deck is mostly black, with metallic printing. The Snow Owls deck is mostly white, with black printing. Very easy to tell them apart from the box.

The thing is, with their backend they could have setup all kinds of more discrete flat rates. There are multiple ways (weight, number of items, etc) to make that more balanced.

So I get all jazzed up to buy a brick and get a free deck and see this:

stayed till the end of what? Just curious really. I've ordered from them since they first launched but never recieved any code. I'm guessing you had to make a big or expensive order.

Untill the end of the the blue crown re-launch release party in the google hangout session.
everyone who staid till the end and not just left after the new stuff went online (greeedy people you know) got the code in the chat window.
And as i wrote before Alex asked us to do not give it out since we stayed till the end and did not leave early.
Hopefully this clears the fog what this was all about

ok then. Thought it was for early customers from when they first launced. Well, as far as this deck is concerned, i'm going to attempt to wait until the snow owls are released. I'll probably pay a hefty price for them, but I don't need a brick of the regulars. Just want two. With their shipping, i usually wait until there are enough things i want to make it tolerable for myself to pay their shipping rates.

I can't believe they did this again.
They had the gold crown that you could only get if you purchased X-amount of product.. then they turned around and sold it for 17.99

Now they have this deck (which you could only get if you bought a brick), and now they are going to turn around and sell it. Total B/S!!!

AND.. I still haven't even received a shipping notice for the brick I purchased just to get one of those decks!

I will NEVER fall for this crap again. I guess they didn't learn from how pissed people were about the Gold Crown scenario.

I would have gone for 6 decks anyways.
The Snow Owls look indeed better then the regular Altruism decks and if the price is okay (not more then $9,95) i´m gonna order 2 more

I ordered the Altruism and completely forgot about it until I read this. Shows I order too many decks. I think I will pass on the "special edition" as I still feel as though I need a shower from purchasing the 17.50 Gold Crown.
