I expected modified standard courts and I'd be surprised if others didn't
And there's an awful lot of whitespace on the courts... why not fill it in with the wave pattern? That's probably what I expected, modified courts against the wave pattern

I love how open you are to feedback from the community. To me, they seem a bit too cartoonish/childish, reminding me of the KWP Back to School deck vibe. I chose Option B on the KS. Congratulations on the successful campaign!52Kards wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 11:44 am Haha fair enough. If y'all don't mind me asking, what exactly do you find surprising/unexpected about the court card design? Were you expecting something more custom, or more traditional? Is there anything specific about the courts that bugs you? It's a bit late in the game to make any drastic changes to the design; but it'd be nice for future reference to get a better understanding of what hardcore card collectors like to see from court cards.

The Standard Edition Waves will be printed with the court style from Option A
The Day One Edition Waves will be printed with the court style from Option A
The Limited Edition Waves will be printed with the court style from Option B

I'm excited to introduce an extremely special Add-On item for this project. The Foil Edition Waves deck! This will be the most limited production deck ever created by 52Kards. We are unable to create a prototype that would do this deck justice, so I'll describe it in words and try to paint a pretty picture of it in your mind...
This deck will feature a borderless foiled back design with an inverted color scheme.
The Waves design pattern will will be foil stamped on the back of each card in a stunning black cold foil. This makes the design far more eye catching and luxurious than standard ink based decks.
The tuck case will be enclosed with a numbered/serialized custom seal for authenticity.
Only 1,000 of these decks will be printed. This will make it the most limited print run of any production deck ever created by 52Kards.
For now these will be limited to just 2 decks per backer so that more backers have an opportunity to claim a deck. If there are still any unclaimed decks available after a few days, then I'll increase the deck limit per backer.
The production cost of a foiled deck in such small quantities is much more than a standard deck, but we think it's well worth the extra expense to create an extra special trophy deck for card collectors.
The deck costs $23.
