I remember a TGW review which revealed the UV qualities of TWI's Lunatica decks which are 'brilliant' under UV - quite accidentally as the inks were chosen for their neon qualities w/o knowledge of their UV quallities

Hey Crazy, I have come close to buying them just for the tucks. I don't really know how I have resisted them as I am attracted to UV

i agree here. my favorite gio tucks are when he puts a character on the tuck instead of a 'gio'metric design. pheonix and chimera looked amazing. the character style was also one of his best.

Has anyone try shuffling their precious deck? My Prime stays bent, but it can unbend. Just curious if Aurus has the same issue or does different silver/holo foiling changes anything.

Gave in and got this one and the Midas from the Euroshop. Zodiac Prime had a better price there than as a Incubo Kickstarter campaign add-on.

looks like its 36 euro right now on the euroshop ($39ish if google is converting properly)

https://www.thirdsiren.it/product/eu-prime/

depends how much shipping is to you, its $41 and free shipping with the KS.

Though he also sent out a discount code last week that may or may not have expired already.

Same with my decks. Prime has very weird almost wet paper effect going on. Zero spring back to form once bent. Almost making it useless for anything other than looking at it. Aurus on the other hand is amazing! It’s a great handling deck imo. I have no idea what’s going on with Prime though.

Thank you for the confirmation. How sad that prime is the way it is even tho it came from same printing company as Aurus. Sighhh Aurus is out of reach for a peasant like me :'(

I read the same feedback from a couple of folks on Reddit regarding these cards staying bent rather than springing back.

Wondered if it could be the foil. The blurb for Aurus and Prime mentions PET foiling which is a term I haven’t come across in the context of playing card foiling before.

Curious, as I’m looking into WJPC foiling options at the moment. I have some previous WJPC decks with cold and hot foil that don’t appear to have this issue.

Hello, I have investigated the issue with WJPC - I confirm that the strange handling of Zodiac Prime is very likely caused by the specific kind of PET foil used (shiny silver).
Prime uses the same paper as Midas and Aurus.

PET foil is similar to EPCC/LPCC flood foil - it might be the same technique (WJPC never shared too many details on it): The whole uncut sheet is foiled and ink is printed above.

Apart from this issue on Prime, I really like PET foil, and I'm planning to do more decks with it - I'm planning to use a different paper on the next, which may improve the feeling&handling of the cards.

Thank you for the feedbacks!
