I will pass on these. TGW decks are the closest to standard courts that I get, since each collaborator has a unique take on them. I'm satisfied with my Parlour Black and don't feel the need for additional color variants. These are also too busy for my liking.

Haha. You guys really get a producer excited to launch a product they’ve worked hard on… sheesh.

Well this thread is missing some of the other WIP art that Lorenzo has on his patreon about the deck that make me somewhat more excited.
But I do have to echo the above a bit, TGW decks are one of the few standard decks I will even consider.
I do think you are going to have to repeat yourself a lot as to why the color choices are what they are on what is in still in large part a new campaign. These do look like an odd set of choices.

I'm a little confused on what is odd about the color choices? They look good to me. What are you finding odd?

Prism being one certainly, (nearly) solid gold as a third.
the white back actually looks fine better than I expected really.
but you are also going to have a lot of people familiar with the usual TGW selections and not aware why Omar has chosen these 3 (because he views it as completing the original parlour set).
Im not saying even the number is off, 3 is probably about right, at least initially.

I am excited for these! I think they look good and am looking forward to a "complete" Parlour set.

Personally I do still like traditional courts, and the Parlour ones are nice. I'm liking the new backs, the colors, and all the Lorenzo flourishes on the faces.

Reminds me of the gentleman deck. But don't look at the backs, Honeybee.

I'm definitely feeling the purple diffraction foil. Love the details on the AoH as well. Must have for me.

I just thought you might not like them.
Regarding the versions for The Parlour, Ivory screams classy to me and I'm looking forward to that. I wasn't a collector back when the original decks came out, so I'm be happy to be around for these.

Just as an aside, Red and Blue Parlour decks are still available on TheGentlemanWake.com!

Refurbished artworks! Quite nice. At first I thought itd be the previous Parlour artworks recolored, but good thinking that Lorenzo makes them fresh with updated artworks

I doubt that Lorenzo or Omar could live with an untouched update. Both appear to have a character that strives for positive progress.

The prism is growing on me a little. For the ivory (white), are we looking at full gold foil or some gold metallic ink on the back?

I do not consider myself a newb anymore But I have never known (for sure) what 'prism' meant
Are we talking about that flakes style gilding?

Isn't it just holographic foil, which sort of changes color in different lights or angles?

Yeah, the same way a prism will shine the rainbow when hit by light, this is essentially referring to the holographic foil.
Prism just sounds better than "Holographic Edition." That might have sounded cooler in an earlier decade

Not to mention that Prism is way more accurate. Holographic is just plain wrong.
