For real, I have to agree with Eddie on that. We try to be as open and transparent as we can with you all but we really don't have to be. Most other companies very rarely discuss their business practices or reasoning with their customers. We try to be friendly and interact with everyone when we can. It seems like people here have gotten accustomed to that and if/when we don't reply to certain messages we now get a backlash of customers canceling orders and/or leaving disreputable comments about our company and how we run. (Not necessarily in this thread, but in previous issues before)

Please respect that we are a business and bottom line is that we have to make money to stay up and running to bring you the decks that you wish to receive. We cannot please every single customer. We do not have to explain every detail of our business practices to the board. While we value your opinion and appreciate everyone here's business and feedback, we have to do what is best for *our* business while catering to the community as a whole.

I gotta say I love that you list how many decks you have in stock. That's pretty damn transparent as far as I'm concerned.

I hope you didn't take me asking about the version as offensive. That wasn't intended for either GW rep. I wasn't trying to imply that they were reprints either.

I understand that your comment was just general curiosity. My reply was just a broad statement regarding all of our projects and practices :) We have had a lot of questions and comments regarding how we run things over here lately. Goes much further than just this thread.

Thanks for jogging my memory. This was when I was a lurker and just starting out. Version 1 is your standard double element for the back.

Version 2 is a little more interesting. It has a single element with 4 little circle badges. With what I know now I would suggest putting the circle badges on the edge of the card for version 3. Top corner or not; It really doesn't matter. ppl just like repeating patterns in the fan of the cards. And this back is a minimal full bleed in disguise.

Has anyone else used UV inks from the USPCC? I can't think of any?

While I would never object to anything you said about transparency (and I very much appreciate yours), I feel like asking if decks are reprints or original editions is quite a reasonable and valid request. These are, after all, collector's items.

Not besides this, the first Grid v2 and this one from USPCC directly - http://www.shopbicyclecards.com/Bicycle ... 89C42.aspx

At least not that I've seen, but I'm a baby.

I tend to think it was neither. I'm not scientist but they used that glow-in-the-dark stuff that's kind of powdery. If you rub your finger across the courts, you can feel the difference between ink and the glow-in-the-dark parts. If that even makes any sense.
