Looks like the Ornates series and the Zen series had a playing card baby.

If in any universe that was possible, this is what they would look like.

Whatever happened to these and their giveaway? All I see is playingcards.net selling them on Ebay for $150!

It's happening we just wanted to coincide the giveaway with the release of the kickstarter to drive as much traffic to the campaign as is possible.
I just sent out a set to Cbkimble the other day for winning the deck of the year giveaway we sponsored. So congrats again to him and thanks again to Volantangel and Mike for putting it together what a rad opportunity pretty much half of the people who participated won something amazing.

Also to clarify we are not giving away 50 decks I've already given away a majority of the decks to people to review like Max and Kardify. So the amount of decks available to the public of the prototypes are super low maybe 12 total have been made available because we're really hoping you'll pledge for the actual cards which I guarantee will look even better!

Expert Playing Card Company will be doing the printing to answer an earlier question.

Timing? When will this project likely go live? Or, will you be by-passing the KS process with this project?

The project will launch as stated above on kickstarter. It will go live March 10th.

PLENTY of EBs to go around! I think it says CST but should say CDT - which goes into effect at 2am Sunday (spring forward, it becomes 3am instantly).

I have to say that I like the fact that they're releasing all 4 colors at the same time instead of trickling out one color at a time over a 2 year period.

I'll be late, but I'm definitely getting in on these. The colors are great.

I loved the Ornates and those play in the same "style" - USPCC printing would have made me go for the brick + custom brick box.
Thanks for releasing all four decks at the same time - shipping is also not overpriced and Gamblers Warehouse is very international customer friendly!

Thanks to everyone who's pledged so far. Pretty incredible first day out and 5.5 hours in and we're fully funded. I owe a lot to the community here and I'm extremely grateful for everyone who's been involved. I know we will be adding add ons shortly to the campaign but It's pretty crazy to me we got here with no tee shirts no knick knacks or anything else just straight up playing cards. That speaks volumes for the playing card community and its difficult to explain to people who have no idea what is involved in it or anything.

Just had to come on here and say thanks it really means a ton to me and the Gambler's team that you guys showed up and supported us.

It's just a great design, John! (and people really appreciate your doing them all four at once instead of one at a time, especially those paying for international shipping)

Yes! +1! I hope other designers are taking note- this campaign is the perfect evidence that doing all four at once is clearly a better money making opportunity then doing one at a time. How quickly this funded speaks for itself.

EDIT: not to mention, as a buyer I REALLY appreciate them all at once instead of waiting!
