Re: Upcoming deck on KS - codename "O"
The color scheme feels similar to Legends Egyptian. Not sure I'm into the gradients on the royal cards.

Re: Upcoming deck on KS - Omnia
Well the name has a very definite Paul Carpenter feel but the art still makes me think of Origins. A collaboration perhaps?

Re: Upcoming deck on KS - Omnia
Since I have inside knowledge, Eoghann (and others) are right on the money.
Gio wasn't going to say much until Delirium is fulfilled, but since we have outed him, I suppose I can talk him into talking it up a bit. I have more pix, but I think mine are all older than the ones he shows in the Kardify article.
Let's see...

Re: Upcoming deck on KS - Omnia (wap)
Hi guys! Okay it's time that I say something I suppose
As many of you said, Omnia will be the third project of Thirdway Industries.
I was of course here from the start, and was having a lot of fun with the great teaser Kardify did. They'll also publish an article on this week, that will spoil some cards and the tuckbox. I love change style, so I thought it wasn't so easy catch me. Anyways I have to congratulate Eoghann for his sharp eye. He busted the only things I decided to leave ad Delirium legacy. Really, I'm impressed from such attention. Also I have to thank anyone thought my deck was made by the legendary Rick Davidson. Probably it's for the color scheme, I never used gold before. Well, this time I will use a lot of it. As you know, I'm not too subtle with colors
Hope you had fun with the first part of the teaser and you like the deck so far. The best has yet to come anyways. From now on I'll break the silence and I will answer any question, as I always do. I'm writing this from a mobile phone. On a tra in. Be patient if I wrote silly things ahah

Re: Upcoming deck on KS - Omnia
So, while I was convinced right from the start that this wasn't from Rick (the uniform line thickness, which isn't how Rick rolls, and different shading style were my primary basis for that), I was equally convinced that it wasn't from Giovanni (coloring, as noted previously), so he definitely fooled me.
That said, I really do like the way this looks, and I'm all over this action when it launches. Well done, sir!

I was super-angry with Eoghann that spolied me in less than a minute, but I really laughed a lot when I saw this:
Eoghann wrote:Scratch that. It's definitely Giovanni. The flower, the hand style, the *ahem* cleavage, beauty mark, eye and head shape. Threw me off with the breast tattoo but I'm betting the house on Giovanni.

Re: Upcoming deck on KS - Omnia
Eheh I know, they are usually slow. They are working to improve their speed, and we are working to made this a little faster than usual (basically approving and maybe even hard-proofing everything during the campaign. I can't promise anything now, but we're working to do this)
Despite the painful wait -I'm impatient as hell- , I think they made a great work with Delirium. I was in love when I saw the prismatic stock the first time

I can't wait too!
But I want to be sure that almost my Delirium and Evil Decks are delivered before start a new campaign.
I'm writing "almost" and not "all" just because I Signature Edition will be a little slower than regular decks and probably will delivered in June.

Re: Upcoming deck on KS - Omnia
Was wondering what's behind the name? At first glance, it would seem the names would need to be swapped around:

Suprema for the more elaborate, regal design (golden one)
Oscura for the darker one
Illuminia makes sense. It's more "heavenly" and bright.

Re: Upcoming deck on KS - Omnia
A little story about the name:
When I started this project (Jan 2015) I was thinking to make a Thirdway Industries "Standard Deck". I designed some (a lot :p) of courts, and then decided to find a name and a main theme (It was "standard", but I wanted something that could characterize it a bit)
I started to brainstorm and found some names that should communicate "standard/classic", then the name "Omnia" (Omnia means "everything" in latin) popped up. I liked that name a lot, and decided to make some "graphic" researches about the concept of "everything".
I found the Uroboros, the self eating snake symbol of "the ethernal return"...and Omnia become a "little" (just a little.........) less standard than I planned
Uroboros is very important in this deck - it's hidden everywhere, and it's on every tuck box and back.
The versions represents the parts of the eternal cycle of the life(Illumina), the death (Oscura) and the ascension to divinity (Suprema).
There are a lot of details, surprises and symbology --- don't want spoil everything now
Here is the card back with Uroboros I hope this explanation is fun

With 3 people out of the gate posting here that it is totally you, myself included...I think next time you need to be even more sneaky.
No, please don't. I hate those blurred image or zoomed in previews.
Anyhow, looking forward to these, but so many options! Hopefully you'll keep sharing prior to the project so we can learn more well ahead of time. These look awesome and super fun, as we have learned to expect from you.

Re: Upcoming deck on KS - Omnia (wap)
@ecNate I was tempted to use more sneaky images
But my main goal was show Omnia in a fun way, so I didn't cared too much if it could be busted easily. I was also aware that United cardists are hawk eyes, so I know from the start that should had been only a matter of time. Well, maybe I thought you need at least hours and not minutes.
I will share some extra informations about the project here, so you can decide what to pledge for before the campaign starts.

Re: Upcoming deck on KS - Omnia
Thirdway - I like your name but I don't like your cards. Try to keep traditional. The QoS has the flower and the scepter while the other queens have just a flowers. The queens should have flowers not swords. I like your KoH. It shows the sword going through the head. Just know, the first suicide King had something like a dagger going into and not through his head. Actually, the first deck had the KoH and KoD with an axe and the KoC and KoS with a sword. It Makes sense and it's probably true. Some guy's interoperation of the KoH morphed into 3 Kings with a sword and one with an Axe. Know the history... I love seeing old half seals on cards. Seals are the key....

Re: Upcoming deck on KS - Omnia
Hi Sprouts1115, thank you for the feedback! In Omnia, usually the most "classic" cards are the "Omnia Oscura" ones.
I was inspired by a standard Bycicle, where the QoS have both the scepter and the flower. However, Suprema and Illumina are more "personal"...and I like more aggressive queens with huge weapons than flowers
