You laugh but I played with my shuffled ink and EPCC decks and couldn't tell the difference in how they feel!

Think I recall hearing ideally late Jun, and before 4 Jul, in one of Jackson’s podcast.

Honestly, Legal Tender were not my favorite of Jackson's work as the details didn't really translate effectively (in my opinion) to the lower resolution of playing cards. However, this new version does look great as I do like bling and this has it in spades.

I like Jackson when he takes a theme (pick a theme) and takes it to a whole new creative level. Honestly, Jackson is just like a grown up ADHD kid jacked up on caffeine when his vast artistic creativity is just unleashed. Just don't hold back Jackson, ever!

Well it looks like we will be taking Jackson to court over these then.

JACKSON - You knew full well of our patent.

We're onto lawyers for this as of NOW.

brownsl - Why would we patent something, spend 3 years and $30K doing so and then just allow someone to infringe the patent. That's the whole purpose of inventing something and patenting it. Yes, it's 100% for real, regrettably.

The critical claim, which the production of these playing cards will infringe:

Andrew, your issue doesn't lie with Jackson, it lies with EPCC
Your issue needs to be raised with EPCC as they're the producer of such technology being offered to JR.

For all you know it's a totally different process in-which the cards are manufactured and produced.

I'm sure your words aren't going to go to far with a civil law-suit pending in Germany or the US while these cards get produced and distributed. By the time you get an infringement order, the cards will be produced and distributed.

Good luck.

Lastly, is your patent worldwide patent protection?

Exactly!
Even so this is not the same technology as yours..

So are we saying that no other cards can have holographic elements on the actual cards?

B/C andrew think's he owns the world or holographic technology on playing cards..

Am I reading this right? You claim to have patented the concept of using holograms - a technology invented in 1948, I might add - specifically on playing cards, a technology invented somewhere in the depths of time?

That pretty much sounds like patent trolling to me.

This is going to be funny. EPCC isn't printing the decks themself. Everyone knows they use a contratual partner based in China. A wet dream for a lawyer, haha.

Decks are in production btw, so you better hurry with filling the law suit.

JR isn't hiding holographic art on the cards. You can see it easily. VXD has invisible holographic ink and art which is totally different.

USPCC has visible holographic edge foiling but you see it. I think JR used it on Back To School.

VXD is way off on this holographic claim.

Publicly threatening to sue another creator for using a company to print cards (it's not like Jackson is printing these in his basement, why would suing him make any sense in the first place?!) makes me happy I never backed their overpriced diffractor decks.
