I don't feel that the court faces are at the same level of quality as the rest of the deck. They look cartoonish to me. They don't feel like they match the style / backs; like they belong to another deck. I honestly feel the deck would be better served with stock courts.

Edit: Stock courts or full custom courts. I think the custom heads on what look like very stock bodies is off putting for me more than just the heads.

While I agree that the ribbon that splits the image on the backs could go, it's one of those "nits" that I don't feel like picking, and I rather like the courts. I've backed.

I know I've expressed similar sentiments in regards to boobs/nipples before, but just to echo this a bit louder for those in the back: ALL NIPPLES ARE THE SAME. point. blank. period.

Just because a pair may belong to a woman versus a man does not make them lewd, offensive or obscene and I'm so sick of these oppressive, double standard gendered bs. Sure, nipples can be sensual, but so can other parts of the anatomy that are freely on display and exposed in public so why are ours the only ones being exclusively sexualized and forced into censorship while the exact same nipples on men are not and they get a totally free pass to exist in all manners of desexualized states?! ugh

It's just totally absurd and needs to stop. If y'all truly support equality (which *is* the theme of one of these deck BTW lol), than y'all need to support women reclaiming the rights to their own damn bodies, including their nipples, from a general culture that forces us to hide, cover and conceal 'em or else make us feel ashamed of 'em and even in some cases, criminalize their exposure in public - nipple equality is gender equality and we deserve the same freedom & rights as men to do with our bodies as we please - so #freethenipple and don't change a single thing about the design. ever.

When I first saw these I thought, "Mmm, they're okay, but nothing special." But the more I look at them, the more details I see, and the more they grow on me. I'm in for just the one deck.

And I have to agree on the whole "nipples are fine" thing; it's ridiculous that people still have hissy fits in this day and age.

Just want to be clear, I just wondered about the art and the printer. Only because I heard USPCC can be a little conservative on what they will print.
I've been looking forward to these for a while, I backed for a pair on day one.
Also own most of Gio's decks of cards.

sorry for goin' off on a tangent - I just hate that this is obviously still an issue in this day and age - I mean, it's 2019 for cryin' out loud! lol and boo to USPCC and their "Offensive Artwork Policy" that might even take this aspect up as an issue as they're so flagrantly inconsistent in fairly (or rather, unfairly) using to justify their determinations of what subjectively is and isn't "acceptable". If any aspects of the designs of this deck aren't approved just because some female breasts and nipples are simply exposed in their natural state, while these ones from the Impasto deck, which are overtly sexualized/objectified, still got the go-ahead for production, I'm seriously gunna flip shit... (╯ಠ益ಠ)╯彡 ┻━┻

I contacted USPCC and explicitely requested an approval of the artwork, pointing out there are nipples on the representation of the "lady of justice" statue.

The artwork is approved, so.. we just need to reach the goal and print this project

Well... two different things, the classical representation of the body is.. a naked body. You can see it in Greece, in ancient Italy and so on. Not only boobs, but also willies, with a real "gender equality".

The shitty and trashy Italian television is.. another thing.

An interesting side note, the states in Malaysia with the highest religious policing (ruled by the Muslim religious party) also has the highest internet porn viewership by time and the highest prostitution crime rate. So yeah. There you go.

yea, I agree; compared to past projects/decks, this one obviously goes in a completely different direction but I'm glad to see Passione offering a deck specifically designed to appeal to a different market and, although I wouldn't necessarily agree that I personally fit into that particular group at which it's aimed, I greatly appreciate that they still went the extra mile to offer a fully custom deck to stay true to their brand and are debuting their signature standard courts - very cool and def still a great deck for gameplay For all of those reasons, I too hope this project makes it over the finish line and then some

Yeah, it is sad. The reality though was it does cost a lot for these campaigns. They said they plan to try again with a different printer where they can fund at a lower goal amount, which is a shame.

I would personally rather see this combined into one deck and still printed with USPCC but I doubt that's going to happen.
