RE: no. 3 I know, I feel the same way but the extras do help fund the deck. In fact we have more backers but slightly less money than at this point on Fillide as people had more things to pledge for.

The coins etc turned out really nice in the end though so we're glad we did it, but totally appreciate that many collectors aren't interested in them.

I just really hope this funds. Make sure to reach out to other designers on this forum for cross-promoting!

tbh I'm pissed about the current funding level as this is one of the best designed deck so far imo , with the ongoing discussion about the new Exquisite deck and JR's recoloring I truly hope people spend more time/money on this type of decks...

Or the Fillide booklet, which I didn't get when I pledged. Adding it on via backerkit or something similar post-campaign would be great.

It'll be complex to add just the booklet, but we're looking at adding a new reward tier for a couple of Fillide decks and the booklet. I'll have to speak to my accountant first though. It may destroy our argument for crowdfunding versus taxable income. We can happily offer them as post-campaign add-ons so Backerkit could be the safest bet for this. However it wouldn't solve our funding problem

Lot's to think about over the weekend anyway. We have a few new tiers coming out tomorrow and some black friday ideas so watch this space.

Worst case though I'd be happy to do Fillide add-ons for you guys, you're not the first to ask and I think we're missing out by not offering it. The risk is that as soon as we start putting existing products on the campaign, it becomes less crowdfunding and more selling (thus taxable...).

I believe this means we'll be sent out in the weekly Kickstarter newsletter as well as getting a nice little badge that you can see in the thumbnail. Anyone have any experience with this?

I am glad this project is getting the "Projects We Love" treatment from KS. Hopefully, this will get it the boost it needs. I am not confident with the current trajectory of pledges this one will make it on its own which will be too bad as I really like it.

It's starting to pick up a bit Perhaps because the Mexican card project also got selected and a huge boost from the KS newsletter, which in turn notifies all backers of similar campaigns (ours) as well as all followers of those backers to our campaign when they pledge.

So I think we're ok for now. We're tracking around €600 and 15 backers ahead of Fillide at this same point and the coins are launched this morning, which should increase us a fair bit.

There are also some new tiers coming. Check back at 10am CET.

Is it weird that I consider Jocu to be the literal opposite of That Guy Who Recently Returned?

Great design, great campaign, great consideration for feedback, a great follow-up campaign, etc etc etc. Polar opposites!

It's clearly a bug as he never (obviously) pledged that amount and now my 'funding from external sources' is showing as €-1980

Jocu - what happened? Unless I am missing something, someone has just dropped a massive pledge. You were half way there and now it is at about 35 per cent.

OBVIOUSLY backers #58 didn't pledge €4300 as it is saying, and now it's also reporting that we have collected €-2000 from external sources.

Interesting. I've only had the "El Reino de Los Muertos" deck featured in KS's Projects We Love newsletter. Wonder if that's somehow personalized.

Yeah they also got front page for the day (and around 300 more backers...) because I think there are different levels. Basically they choose a few projects, but only a handful will then be in the newsletter and only 1 a day on the front page.

We do get preferential search results though, so that's nice and I think it's brought a few backers.

Just be careful sharing pledge related details on social media and forums like what you did above. It shows the name of the backers clearly who did the mistake while showing another backer's pledge details and name. The customer details as well as the amount that is being pledged is confidential and to be used by the project creator for fulfillment and communication purpose only. Understand that it is nothing new and you'd already know it. Will recommend you to take down those screenshots above, I would have done that if I was you.

I have not commented much on the Jocu threads. The artwork elicits the same response from me as the designs we have seen from Bona Fide's decks; I can tell that they are good, and the fact that they are substantially different from other things on the market is a bonus, but the style neither excites me nor repels me. I ultimately decided to back the first project from Jocu because, well, their interactions here were so positive, they took constructive feedback in such a reasonable way, I felt that I should encourage such behavior by putting my money down. I didn't back huge, but I backed it. I haven't received my decks yet, but since many others have received theirs, I imagine mine will arrive before too long.

With this second project, I see continued positivity, continued effort at improvement, and I also see that the artwork displayed here is starting to grow on me. So, even having not yet received my decks from the first project, I jumped in to back the second.

I hope this positive feedback loop continues. I hope Jocu's efforts at honing their craft continues to earn greater rewards. We have a number of amazing producers here who have benefited from that kind of positive feedback loop, and I'd love to see more. Looking forward to getting my hands on these (and their predecessors, when they arrive.)

I really appreciate your feedback. We are genuinely trying to do something different, and whilst I do sometimes toy with the idea of doing a deck that we know will sell well and take half the effort regarding the theme and so on we're going to try and follow through with our original plan of three decks and then branch out a bit.

Ale's artwork outside of card design is really varied and we look forward to surprising everyone with some different styles of decks next year. The projects we're doing now will hopefully allow us to focus more on decks next year and we have some really interesting ideas in mind

Done. He saw the funny side, no issues but we no longer need to see it so I removed them.

UPDATE - After receiving many requests about offering Fillide as one of the rewards, I'm going to add a high tier Fillide option today. I may add a smaller one next week.

Vasta regarding the booklet I will add this to whatever Fillide related tiers we decide to put in. But if none of them work for you drop me a PM and we can just do it as an add-on. There are a few in stock over at GW and we have plenty here so it's easily done

Thank you! We are comfortably ahead of Fillide for now. Next week will be a big decider, so we'll be revealing a lot more of the artwork and opening some new tiers.

Eh... not looking good guys.

Might have to throw in the towel on this one if something drastic doesn't happen. It's not completely a surprise as we're launching later than we wanted but we had to get the campaign in before the really quiet period sets in. However I'm seeing other campaigns funding relatively quickly that launched later and that's the frustrating part.

The backers and UC have all been great as usual, unfortunately time hasn't been on our side on this one.

I'll see if anything develops over the weekend but unless anyone has any bright ideas a Feb relaunch is looking likely.
