Thanks, but they all sound (read?) bad to me. Not catchy at all, so I doubt they'd ever trend. But we're not on twitter, so here they only need to convey my opinions/views to those who read them

By default, the Red Gilded deck with full bleed red foil on both sides will be available from day 1 for backers who need one or two of each (5 and 10 decks). There will be one-day early bird with FREE GILDING UPGRADE on this deck only!

After the first day, I may add this deck to other pledge levels (if not sold out).

I'll also have 30-50 bundles of three decks (non-gilded White/Retro and Red gilded at almost full price) on day 1.

All gilded decks will be Kickstarter and Montenzi.nz exclusive!

The standard deck (printed without cold foil) is not a part of this campaign, but I may print it later or never. I have three sets of boxes (std, KS premium, KS gilded), but I'll only reveal premium and gilded boxes. All boxes are in the same style, and all KS boxes will be printed in the same quality.

1. Kickstarter approved the project! I can launch it anytime now. 96% that I'll launch on 08/08/2020. I'll still confirm the time! EDIT: I am busy this weekend. I'll post a date tomorrow.

2. THE DEAL

First of all, some info about the Red Ultra Edition deck. I will print 500-750 decks only, and this deck is not a part of a larger print run. The low number of decks, cold foil on both sides of the cards, and gilding make the deck extremely expensive in production! It's crazy, but I can produce seven standard decks for the price of this one!

• On the first day, the Red Ultra edition is available if you order 6, 12, or 18 decks using "ULTRA" tiers only! After that, I may offer the remaining decks for other reward tiers at a full price (if the deck is still available).

• On the first day, you will get the Red Ultra edition for just NZ$38 (US$25)! I may extend this deal for one or two days.

• On the first day, the first 100 backers of the "ULTRA" tiers will receive one numbered and signed mini-print (A6 size) per every six decks ordered. Prints will be made by me in New Zealand using one or two foil colors (crazy)! Example: if you order 18 decks, you will get three prints in different designs.

What it means for you: get it now if you like this concept! It's almost a giveaway The full price is NZ$56 (US$37). White/Retro gilded decks are NZ$38 (US$25). Premium decks are NZ$23 (US$15). Shipping is not included.

You can select premium edition decks after Kickstarter (White only, Retro only, or any available combination) when I send a survey. But all gilded decks are only available in bundles (1-2-3 of each) as I need to control the number of such decks.

If you don't need limited and gilded decks, you are a lucky person, and this deal is not for you

p.s. $120 for six decks + sh is not for everyone, but it's ok as Premium decks without gilding are very affordable.

I've never seen the point of having brick boxes be exclusive. I'd be more than happy to spend $5 on one, and I'm sure there are others who would too (even though I'm running out of display space...). Free for those ordering 6+, sure. But denying anyone else from buying any is just straight up reducing your income.

@montenzi, do you have an option of only gilded decks without the premium ones?

It's usually a logistics nightmare when you buy one deck and need a brick box. How to ship such a box? Flat? How to send everything safely?. I have some ideas about half brick boxes, but I am not ready to show my mockups. Also, are you talking about boxes made for ULTRA tiers only or about boxes for everyone else? Are you talking about white boxes? Red boxes? Black boxes? With foil? Without foil? Hand made? Made in China? Made in New Zealand? How much does it cost to send it flat as a letter by itself? If not a lot, then that could be baked into the price, perhaps outside of KS to avoid their fees.

I like the last idea! It’s practical and u don’t have to have a headache when other backers want a box. U can save the foiling for the ULTRA tier and allow addition box purchases but on the white/basic one.

The problem solved!

• There are five decks in the project, and I don't want to force backers to buy 6th deck to get a box if they need one/two/three of each!

• Also, 15 decks is a maximum I can send to international backers as for the 16th deck, the shipping price doubles!

I'll produce two different boxes for five decks each. One box design will be strictly available for backers of the Ultra tier. That's it.

Well, in typical crazy squirrel fashion, I am in for a 10 Ultra Special. Something of everything always sounds good.

I needed to step out when this launched so I scrolled down found one that was an ultra, grabbed it and ran out the door. I considered reading the details but yea, no. Lots of tiers!
I'm happy with what I chose now that I have a moment to actually look at it.
