Nothing here. (Seattle, WA, USA)
It shouldn't be, but it's always surprising to me when I encounter people online that live near me (I'm in the Seattle area too). It's like my brain somehow thinks people online exist in some alternate dimension.
IIRC, Baconwise lives in the greater Seattle area, as well, albeit possibly on the other side of the Cascades. BadPete, too, although he hasn't been active here as much lately as he used to be.
Hmmm. Maybe we should set up some sort of a meet-up here before too long.
I seem to recall that PenguinMagic used to have a travelling roadshow, and they would swing by the Seattle area from time to time. That would be an ideal opportunity for a meet-up, but I don't know if that sort of thing has resumed.
Also, I'm now guilty of derailing this thread. So... um... back to Maestro III discussion!

I didn't know Penguin had done that. That'd be cool. I'd be down for that.

When people talk about not yet having tracking numbers, are they talking about the new Maestro 3 deck or older Patreon decks that have been delayed?

This is in regard to Maestro III. For Patreons, this was coupled with the Patrons Test Deck.

No word on tracking for me either (Canada). I guess certain countries in Europe just got theirs shipped out way before everyone else for some reason.

Yah. I'm not hundred percent sure but I think I got no tracking for the gilded Morésque either, they just showed up. Which I don't mind since tracking is often unreliable anyways and is more a rule of thumb kinda thing, at least here. But living in the same country as the fulfiller always makes me a tiny bit nervous when other people in foreign countries got their stuff. Although if the mentioned seller is from the Netherlands than he might actually even live closer to the fulfillment centre than I do.

Well I received my tracking email from Dealerz today.. I sure hope they have this in the bag when it comes to receiving the correct Patreon numbers for everyone..
I'm a little worried-some as the last time I received my tracking for my Moresque Gilded decks, I got an order number that matched my patreon deck. This time around my order number is way off from the deck number I should be receiving..
I sure hope this isn't a major screw up on their end considering Alex did mention he sent them a complete spreed sheet list of names and deck numbers. (I'd assume that's what he was talking about)
Only time will tell, but this (using a 3rd party to handle shipments) was something I was afraid once announced. Ever since the days when Lotrek did all his own handling & packaging, it was a pleasure knowing Lotrek took the time to guarantee that his supporters would receive their beloved deck numbers for their collection.
Cheers,
KW

Got the shipping notification earlier today. Let's see if the deck number checks out this time, haha.

Arrived two days ago. I didn't had the time to really put some miles on the deck but for a first impression: best handling Oath deck? Yes. On par with the best LPCC/EPCC decks? Yes. EDIT: I'd say it beats LPCC/EPCC from today. There're old decks of them, that I prefer to this (e.g. LeChat Rouge) but nothing from the recent years.
A revelation in playing card handling. Nah, but impressive for a one man show. For now I'd say it feels like a Bee deck with less slip. Slip is actually where it falls short compared to USPCC/Cartamundi besides that, it's as mentioned eye to eye with today's competition.
As for design nothing you haven't seen from Lotrék before. I guess most of us recognise the court art in slightly changed fashion from Ambassadors, Fable and others. Jokers are lackluster imho but I had a good chuckle with the gaff card.

I just received a tracking number from Deallez, so should be a month or less away at this point.

Grain of salt because I JUST opened my first, but agreed with Harv (minus the Bee part). Slip feels like the equivalent of a USPCC deck that's been used heavily for about 2 weeks. Best handling Oath deck by far. I distinctly remember coming to UC a couple years ago to whine about my "plastic" Arabesques, so poor was the feel of the cards. Seeing how far the Greek freak has come is incredible. Overhand, hindu, riffle, table riffle, thumb fan, spring fan, top change and classic pass all work well. Deals smoothly too. Will beat it up a little bit and report back.
If this truly is the new Oath standard, it changes just about everything. If you tell me that we're getting the "typical" ridiculous Lotrek designs, full hot foil, AND this level of handling, I am over the F******* moon.

Easy there, this ain't foiled. I doubt the handling will be easily transferred to hot foiled decks. I love to be proven wrong though.

Handling update:
Been playing with mine since July 22nd, handling deterioration is faster than other decks. As far as I'm concerned, fans and dealing are affected the harshest. Clumpy fans and I catch myself dealing hangers from time to time. Not touching them for like 24 hours and storing them in a dry environment seem to help for the first 15ish minutes, but after that it's back to what it is. That's me being overly critical. To be fair, the slip is still decent and Maestro III is still materially superior to the old varnish. I wouldn't use these cards for sleight of hand at this point, but there's no doubt that they're still fully playable. Would need someone else to vet their cardistry merit.
All in all, great job Lotrek!

I'm in the US. Whenever Deallez send a shipping notification, I press the black Track and Trace button. The tracking number starts with LE so I copy and paste that into the DHL and USPS sites. My package is in New Jersey so it'll arrive soon.

We're pretty much neighbors. I got the delivery confirmation. I don't think I will open up any of these decks yet but if I do it might be the Patron's test deck. Whenever the Royal Silk test deck comes I might open one for curiosity.

Whereas, whenever mine show up (I'm in the Seattle area, and according to the tracking, my decks are in... Kansas?)...
I'm going to open them all!
All of them, I say!!!
Lotrek decks are meant to be seen! To be fondled! Free the pips!

I open all of Lotrek decks. I used to not buy test decks. I think I'm going to break and open a Patrons deck.

I will open mine too!
I checked my decks and there was no damage even though the shipping box had damage. I will say the packaging of the decks by deallez left a lot to be desired. One layer of thin bubble wrap and then put into a box bigger than the decks. Makes me really appreciate GW.

I placed two orders of Maestro decks. I received the first order and got my patron deck with it but I have never heard anything about my 2nd order. I am not sure if that was expected but I sent Lotrek an email but never got a reply.

Please, can you send me the email again? It may ended up in my junk mail or just missed it. Whatever it is, we’ll fix it!
