That's Daddy Spade, Mommy Spade, and Baby Spade, of the Spade family. They go way back.

Nobody questions that RG is a talented card designer but looking at he faces of the 3 courts above and I find it off-putting that they all have the same expression
It’s supposed to represent the sadness that the townspeople felt when the Pied Piper led their children away as retribution for not being paid.

Anyone got any info on roughly when in Q1? Trying to make sure I budget properly haha
Roughly mid February now. Waiting on one last sample tuck from B&N in Italy then Chris Moyer is taking pictures. We will be able to launch then.

I understood the emotion, it was just that the sameness of the profile, tilt, mouth, nose and eye, jumped out at me

Now that HB's pointed it out, despite some small shading differences, the King's face looks just like the Jack's but with a beard and different hat. Maybe they are twins? I still love the style so waiting to see how it all shakes out with the other courts.

Absolutely gorgeous! Looking forward to this one, Cavaliers and Cyclopeans the most, out of all upcoming deck releases.

Sure, but we haven't received them in-hand yet.

Good news on timing. We are quite a bit closer. Sending sample tucks, cards, and most add-ons to Chris Moyer next week. He’ll take pictures in the coming week or two. I will need to use the pictures to finish the campaign page and video. The page is pretty much ready except for putting in pictures. We’ve got enough to launch after that, but will continue to refine a few things before production. That’s one thing we’ve done differently with this campaign is producing a sample of just about everything before launching. I’m hopeful that will save time and frustration on the back-end. Thanks for your patience and interest!

The metal marker was said to be a 'free' gift to all day one backers, no? It is listed as 150% stretch goal.

I think it's both. If it hits 150% and you backed in the first 24 hours you get it free. If you back after 24 hours and it hits that goal, you have to add it on at a cost.

Yes and its listed that way on the campaign page.
I dont think $15k is going to be a problem, some of those later ones? we'll have to see.

I think it will meet the stretch goal requirement for the marker but it isn't the same arrangement imo unless it falls short of 150% and first day backers still get it but that is not how I understand stretch goals to work. Not losing sleep over it, just pointing out what appeared to be an inconsistency. Looking over it again, I think Adam is correct with it being a gift regardless and if goal is met then it will also be an add-on. Thanks for clarification

confused by this stretch goal format but i fear i am just being stupid? so i backed EB Lure of the Piper but if stretch goals not met then there is no point backing this option? so i would then have to change my tier but at that point i’ve lost EB?
Edit: Hopefully Chris can clear some things up. Super excited bu the launch tho. Thought I was super quick and still ended up 8th backer. Which 7 of you beat me?

While there is a lot to like here the black index for all 4 suits stick out as a sore thumb or design oversight

I'm confused because both the red and black indices are there?
After initially posting about this project on May 20, 2023, it's nice to see this project now at the KS stage over a year-and-a-half later. Some of the higher tiers won't make much sense if the stretch goals aren't hit, but I'm in so far with one of each of the three decks and the collector box.
Got incredibly lucky to be Backer #1

There are red pips for hearts and diamonds but the values are black on all of the cards

Looks like it passed 200%, unlocking that metal marker and booster pack. Are those items free if you choose one of those higher pledges only in the first 24 hours, or will everyone get one who backed this campaign first day, no matter what deck or deck set you selected? I'm hoping at least I can buy those as add-on items. I only backed the cold foil deck.

All backers in first 24hrs get the metal marker. The booster pack is a reward within the higher tiers and is not dependant on eb. I think it will also be an add-on when the goal is reached. Edit: One of the pictures in the add-ons info for the campaign shows the booster pack as being 12$ so that indicates to me that it will be offered in the add-ons.

I don't know that it works as well on this deck but that is a feature that I believe can work really well

Looks like the higher tiers with the stretch goals are already priced in... So had to lower my pledge to only get the cards I have seen so far and would be guaranteed to love.

That’s right, the higher tiers have those three stretch goals baked in. I did that so people would have a general idea of what to budget for this campaign. So many people reached asking about pricing and budget, I thought this would be the best way instead of surprising you every week with another add-on or special edition.

That is right. I'm producing one for every first day backer. I was pretty confident we would hit the 150% goal, so after the first 24 hours, I'll add it to the Unlocked Add-On list.
