Great, now ST deck falls victim of T11’s overpriced paywalled set…
Perhaps this’d be the exception (damn you T11)

Worst thing came true...
My favorite series, as a deck, now comes in a recolor.... PAYWALLED to a set box...
Great job, T11... as always....

On the one hand, bummer. On the other hand, the red deck is about perfect so I'm feeling no FOMO at all regarding a blue version.

Wonder who will be T11 next victim?
TMNT? Four decks recolored based on the turtle’s blindfold masks housed inside a pizza box?
Whatever happened to: released together?
I.E The Beatles Playing Cards - we get to either just either buy one deck of favorite color, or get all four of them, or get the set - people get to choose
Unlike now where,
New deck is released, people got it, and then facepalm when they see the deck is getting it’s set with a “paywalled” “exclusive” deck
*sigh* since this ST is my favorite series… I have to make an exception despite their continuous scheme

I wouldn't buy it but that actually sounds like a really clever idea.
These box sets seem to be geared more towards those who aren't primarily playing card collectors but an average consumer who likes a certain show, character, movie, etc. and buys a box for the novelty. The rest of us have other decks to prioritize focus on.

Wow, fully expected a $100 price point but it's half that at $50... that's actually a really good deal when you consider the price per deck. That holographic blue foil looks great, and it seems the face cards and jokers are also altered to an upside-down blue. Pretty sick.

I don't really collect box sets but that is super nice. Reasonable price along with foil, that seems like a pretty big win.

I'm disappointed that the "Upside Down" deck doesn't open from the bottom.

It might be half the price than the usual, but unfortunately the place I lived had caused added shipping to be very high, ending up with the standard price of $100… oh well, it’s the curse I have to lived with.
For years I’ve avoided buying directly from T11 due to their spiked shipping rates to my country… been avoiding their temptation to get the sets for the sake of the luxurious exclusive editions… until now

I am with you for this too hahaha XD or at least… make the design to be “lefty” (mirrored like the Upside Down)

While a good idea in theory, the ordinary Stranger Things fan using this deck would be super confused and makes the deck not functional. I think the point is to offer a fun new edition that you can use if desired. Technically, the layout of the Upside Down is the same as the real world, just stuck in a different time.

''While a good idea in theory, the ordinary Stranger Things fan using this deck would be super confused and makes the deck not functional.''
IMO, if the direction a box opens makes a deck not functional for someone, they probably don't have the intelligence to play card games anyhow.

Was mainly talking about the fully mirrored lefty deck idea with backwards indexes

All your comments are for Theory11 decks. Do you work for or represent them in some way?

Or perhaprs the artwork is updated somehow, like vine tendrils kinda thing, not just a simple swapping from red to blue to make it really special and "Upside Down"

Vines on the tuck box, blue color scheme box. Maybe they did something to the cards more than just make it blue color scheme... say.... cracks and burns
