For you or Jackson? lol. Clearly he is making a killing on these.

So everyone was complaining about Jackons prices previously and now you are all gladly jumping in like Sharks on these overpriced decks, make up your minds will ya!

It really sucks that KickStarter won't hold your pledge for you for while you complete payment at Amazon. They should do something like TicketMaster and reserve your selection for a few minutes, and if you don't complete payment within that time, release it.

Even the LE is too rich for my blood. $20 plus shipping for a single deck is way past my comfort zone. Sure did want 'em, but this is an insta-pass for me.

To everyone else: There's this guy who sells a deck that'll help you manage your income better, I suggest you check it out

Yeah, I debated with myself for 20 minutes and finally decided I'd do 1 deck at $20. Then I clicked on it and saw shipping was $4 more and cancelled the pledge. Great lookikng deck, but too much money for me for just 1 deck. Hopefully the Silver Arrows will come back soon.

With a complete sell out (all tiers limited with every pledge taken) in a matter of hours, this project should have run for 3 days, not 30. I notice that this project is using the expanded shipping options, so US domestic backers also have a shipping/handling charge added onto the tier level prices... $4 for a single deck has a nice bit of pad added on to the actual shipping cost - the Ultimate Universe deck's $3 is much closer to what a single deck cost to ship.

1. Chach's comment was sarcastic.

2. Not everyone complained about the prices of his previous decks. Likewise, not everyone has actually pledged for this current deck.

If I'm not mistaken, don't the UUSI gold their decks themselves? Just checking b/c jackson stated USPCC is gilding these.

Yeah, Uusi gilds their own deck with 23.5KT gold leaf.

Another stellar project by Jackson. Not many designers can get me to shell out more than $12 on a deck of cards. Here the choice was easy.

In for an H1. These are stunning - and if anything like Jackson's past wooden boxes, quality will be top notch.

there's always room to go up. The wood boxed decks all went within about 30 seconds. Don't think anyone will have a problem selling in secondary market for the price of the pledge at least.

I'd have to disagree somewhat. There are only about 500 backers in on this one. His previous campaigns had upwards of 2700( federal 52) and 1400(Holmes/independence) backers and there is undoubtedly several dozen with multiple accts eating up slots. I would say that there are at least another 500 people that, given the opportunity, would pledge for a deck but cannot now.

IMO, he made the people that only pledge to make a profit in the aftermarket extremely happy, those that like very rare decks happy, but for those that love his work but were unaware of this project or not sure if they would have the funds very unhappy.

Well some of them I suppose.

What's what the 700 deck print run, since when does USPC do such low print runs. I guess it's 1000 with the other decks but I thought USPC had cancelled that a while back. Is there going to be display decks again?

He is offering uncuts at $20 each. Looks like he might end up eyeballs deep in Scarlett Tally Ho uncuts to make up for the 2500 +/- 10%. Lol.

Maybe with another 500 "Private Reserves" and a couple hundred unmarked decks just like the unbranded black reserve notes. Or maybe uspcc finally cut him a deal on that 1000 deck for real this time.

For me..and I guess almost 500 others, that one card, tuck and back design are enough. One thing, I haven't yet been disappointed with Jackson's works - though the prices are getting pretty rough.

The faces appear to be the same as the previous deck, so only the back is a bit different. I guess there isn't much else to show.

Sparks, no I didn't get what I want because while I did get the deck it cost more than I would have liked to be paying for. What do you care, you're probably getting this for free anyway.

Ya Victor I get all my stuff for free, it's great to be me........I just call up whoever, and tell them to send me decks, and they do, I just showed up did absolutely nothing in the community and they just send me stuff........must be my cologne.

........and I don't care, except I'll never understand complaining about something and buying it anyway. Have at it my friend :D

Ah see, it's because I buy something that I have the right to complain. And I shouldn't have to complain and don't like to complain but if someone gives me a reason to complain then I will. And i'm not the only one who feels these are too pricey.

I think previously with his arrow decks we felt it would be ok to pay a bit more, like the usual $12-15 per deck as opposed to his $6 per deck scheme, but he turned it around and decided to sell these for $20, well good for him. But if it continues beyond this deck I too will be out.

And I never said you didn't do anything for the community, but I would say I do too. And I don't charge any money to do it nor get anything in return.

BTW, I buy it because I think it's an awesome deck and I want it in my collection but I dislike the price that Jackson set for it because his last deck failed.

I didn't say you couldn't complain, I said I don't understand it, it's like going out to diner for a steak and its really bad, and you tell the waiter, "Its really bad, but can I have another"........once again, have at it.

......wherever your getting your information, IF your directing " And I don't charge any money to do it nor get anything in return." at me, you may want to check your sources. It's easy to assume what you don't know. Maybe the problem is me Victor, I've reached out to you numerous times, and you my friend could be "The Collector" but you don't, won't, can't see that there is a right way and a wrong way to tell someone their product sucks. But hey, like you said, you have the right to complain and say what you want, think what you want, and express it the way you want.......just like everyone else.

I never said the product sucks, quite contrary, just that the price sucks.

Also what I meant is that you sell ads on your site to projects, which is what I was referring to.

If I had the skills I too would have a kick ass website and do all that but unfortunately I suck at making websites so I haven't done that, but good for you.

Sorry guys, but I'll have to ask you both to stop this current conversation and please settle this between yourselves via PM.

It's okay to discuss the Tally-Hos, but I think the rest is something between you two.

For the record, I don't think Tony is doing anything shady or wrong.
