I'm sure you-know-who has nothing to do with the direction the new project will take.
Two regular decks not successful? How about limited stuff tacked on to a bunch of regular stuff?
Projects powered by hard-ons for artificial limited.
Can't deny how effective the gimmick is though. [BACON]

Can't say that I'm thrilled with the idea of using two different printers. There have been a few projects that have tried this recently that have produced frustrated backers/designers (Empire Bloodlines, Titanic). I've been fortunate that I've only backed one of the printers for both of those, but reading some of the comments from the backers and from RJ, I know there has been frustration. The funny thing is when EPCC/LPCC 1st started becoming a major player, everyone said they were going to be quicker than USPCC. Yet for almost every project that I can think of that is using both printers, it is always EPCC that the project is waiting on. I, for one, prefer the original attempt this project made over the current planned attempt. Having said all that, I'll probably still be in for at least two of each tuck - the design is still very nice.

I agree, why not just produce both decks through EPCC if it is that necessary to make a limited edition through them, instead of dealing with 2 printers. How many projects have had major delays now because of that now?

I've been racking my mind (a limited resource

), and can't think of a case where it's been USPCC who has been slowing the project - can you give me an example? I'm sure there is one, but the examples I can think of it's the 'other' party - EPCC (Golden Spike, Titanic, Bloodlines) or others (Quadruplicates for example).
Back on topic for this project - as far as I can see this is simply a case of tacking a limited deck onto a previously failed project. Yawn.
I've purchased quite a lot of Erik's previous work - in some cases probably too much

- but this is looking like a pass for me.

I don't think that I, or anyone, said it was USPC slowing things down. The point is becomes a hassle when using more than one printer and you end up waiting on the other. If both decks are produced with either EPCC or LPCC then they both arrive and get delivered to backers at the same time. No waiting for one printer or the other for fulfillment to commence. USPC has been known to have delays as well.

1000 of them but only 525 released on the pledges above ? I hope this is in CAD, otherwise those prices are still too steep..

I think I'll be out this time around. I only got on the previous one because I got in on the "Complete Mana Collection" reward, but I don't really stand a chance of getting it this time around. Otherwise there isn't much left that draws me towards this project.

I like the deck, like the backs and think it would be great for magic but these ltd things are over the top. Make a nice deck and sell it. I know what it is to want anything that says Ltd but that got a bit played for me. Actually, after my boy Svinger hooked me up with the white cent it pretty much completed my sought after must haves.

I don't use my work computer for personal things, and no project will ever convince me to use my phone.

Thank god its over the line.
If any of the recent decks on KS truely deserved and needed to be funded and made this one was it.
Its one of my favorites in a while.
Even if it doesn't have borders.... grmbl grmbl....

I think it would have funded quicker had Sybil already been delivered.

It really is the limit, you know .....
I'm with you Mr 'Udson but there are only so many Backers, whilst quality of design is getting to where it generates its own Moores Law.

As useless an update as decaffeinated coffee. Mana has been at the fulfillment center for months now with no development. I'll start caring about his updates when he says he's actively delivering all packages for Mana & Buskers.

Couldn't agree more. Update from Mana on August 26th, "SYBIL HAS LANDED". August 26th! Almost three months later and still no decks. And the fact that he could send out an update on the Buskers project and still remain silent on Mana speaks volumes to me. I will never back another of his projects again. I'm sorry, but he has handled this about as poorly as can be without actually running away with the money.
