I say don't listen to Sprouts. (sorry bud, not meant to insult) but there are no rules, just what has been done traditionally. And I think if it looks good then go for it. You got an awesome style and I too knew it was you once I first saw it, namely because of the hands. Anywho, you have a great style, stick with what works and what you want to do. And I agree with the others joking about USPCC, have you at least checked with them? IMO they are a better company than EPCC and not running late. Ask Lotrek about Venexiana Dark...

Yes, I was in contact with USPCC and I have an Omnia quote from them.
I think that USPCC and EPCC have both an excellent quality, but I already know how EPCC work and I'm happy with them: they are helpful and very open to "experiments". Consider that, since we started working together, I write them almost 3/4 times a week. Probably if they are so slow it's my fault also

Anyways, I decided to go with EPCC when I saw the Delirium final prototype. I was stunned. Can't wait the moment the backers will recieve it

They also can do a thing that is very important for this project: a lower minium print quantity, and even the capability to print a limited edition of 500.

I am of course, like everyone else, frustrated by their slowness, but they are aware about the problem (I tell them often they have to improve that point, expecially for impatient artists like me) and I hope we can manage it as best as possible.

Anyways, I agree, USPCC is a great company and I may do something Bycicle branded in future....let's see

I don't think you can go wrong with the quality of any of the big four: USPCC, EPCC, Legends or MPC. As you've stated, going with USPCC, many times the pricing doesn't make sense, including the minimums and 10% bullsh*t. I'm happy with the quality of the EPCC decks I have, and also with the Legends decks I have (the emerald finish is excellent). I'm also really happy with the newer MPC decks too. No problems. They should be an option when considering printing, but unfortunately, some people still haven't adjusted their expectations, comparing past quality to the current quality.

If you can make more money going with EPCC, that's the way you should go.

Hi there guys,

here is a wip on the Omnia queens of Spades and Clubs.
As I said, some faces of the cards will change a lot in the three versions.
I'm also redesigning the jokers from the scratches for all the decks (six different jokers in total).

I think Omnia Illumina (the stretch goal deck) will have both gold than silver metallic ink.

Are work in progress, but I think worth to share

One thing though: I know it's a work in progress, but I've noticed the birthmarks and tattoos are missing from some of the variants. Unless they're not meant to be the same girl?

Actually I'm thinking all the courts as different reincarnation of the same person, so I'm keeping the same "soul" but different look. Sometimes it's very similar, sometimes it's very different.
Just because I don't look enough crazy, an additional interpretation is that the "Oscura" is the most dark and malicious reincarnation, the "Illumina" the most positive and brave and the "suprema" is the divine/ascended version.

The Omnia Suprema queen of spades is inspired by a very important goddess

Because I always like your attention to detail, I'll post another wip (never posted before).
Now only the Queen of Hearts needs to be revealed. But she's the Star!

Courts are outstanding but I want to see the pip and background layout for each deck now.

I hope this doesn't come across as harsh, because I really like what's going on in the design, except for the Queen of Spades on the OMNIA SURPREME deck!

One area in the design that I think is weak are some of the shields on the OMNIA SUPREME deck. For example, the faces on the shields of the Queen of Spaces look out of place (and not that great IMHO). Where the other shields look detailed, the masks don't.

All the Clubs' shields are consistent, a variation of all three (good), but the Spades' shields, two of the three are the same (not so good).

Suggestion: change the Queen of Clubs shield like the other two decks for the clubs!

@Eoghann - I think it's a great idea, and I was thinking about it. I have to check with EPCC if it's possible foil only 500 decks and how much it would cost. It will probably be a stretch goal.

@TGunitedcardists - The queen of Spades shield is very important, let's say it's a "famous" shield in mythology

In my opinion, the smile seems cheesy and out of place. I don't think it does anything for the illustration. I'd keep the same facial expression as the other two!

I agree with this. Another option would be to have him smile with a closed mouth instead, then it wouldn't be in such contrast with the others.

What they said, that open mouth has to go. It reminds me of a creepy old guy gawking at ladies on a beach.

I like the way the Black border KoH is looking at me. It's a bit creepy, but sometimes creepy is good. I'm thinking 3-Dish would be better for this deck. Expand your mind. Not all fingers are the same size.

Hi guys!

Now that Delirium fullilment is almost done I can focus on Omnia. I completed all the files and sent to epcc (even Suprema and Illumina)
We're trying to set everything up a little earlier to improve the production speed. I can't promise anything because I can't control them, however I'm doing my best to deliver this campaign faster than Delirium.

During this week I'll reveal some details on the project.

I have a good/bad news: all the Prototypes went sold after I sent the message (I gave priorty and special price for backers and UC members forum, as promised). Sorry, I couldn't post anyhing here because they went sold out after few hours I updated KS
I may want prototype Omnia Suprema and Illumina too, I'll keep you updated if I do.

Great! Only one thing I don't like: the skull on the Illumina background. I don't like skulls in general, but if you need it, I think it would be better on the Obscura (the "dark" one, just like there is a skull on the crown of the Obscura KoH, and not the Illumina). But maybe I am wrong and the skull is not on the Illumina background, but the Heart background...
