I still haven't received tracking information. :?

ETA: I found it in Backerkit. Gamblers has it, but has yet to transfer it to USPS.

I signed up for alerts from USPS and received an email today that mine should be delivered tomorrow. I never received a tracking notice either. For some reason, I sometimes don't get notices from GW

I want to thank everyone again for their stellar patience and support. I'm SO SO SORRY this took this long. Hopefully everyone will receive their decks soon!

I want to say that I have LEARNED so many valuable lessons. Hence why Parlour Royale will IMMEDIATELY fulfill after the campaign runs its course.

Gamblers often waits to send the shipping notification email until a couple days before the estimated arrival for some reason.

Mine arrived today! I’ve only opened one so far but they look spectacular, well worth the wait.

That reason is likely the freight forwarder they use for USPS deliveries who will sit on things in Texas until they have enough for a full(enough) truck and then move it. I've seen that take more than a week.

Im sure both the USPS and gamblers got tired of getting "WTF" emails/calls about that since neither of them could do anything about it.

Mine is supposed to be delivered today or Monday and I didnt get a notice until yesterday.

I only got a black deck and it's very good! The way the gold shines on the courts and numbers are used really good and the backs are as well. No complaints.

Got mine today, Im not...thrilled but Ive arrived at the reason for that is that since I backed this campaign my love for "standard" decks is just not what it was 2 years ago, thats not Omars fault.

The deck itself is very well done

if I recall correctly (since I flipped this image 180 degrees from how I took it)

thats the legacy, prism and Dynastinae decks
bettlebacks.jpg
I do think the Prism might have looked better with the black faces

My only critique is that the 3 color backs come off a little less "pop" than they perhaps could have.

As I was re-reading the KS page when uploading these to Deck Collect, I noticed that a few of the versions mention that "A custom numbered seal will adorn the bottom of the tuck."

Mine don't have any seals—I skimmed the KS updates and didn't see any mention of them being removed. I personally don't mind, for the record, just curious if it's a mistake with mine or a wider change.

Hi. Indeed there are no stickers. The final stickers did not live up to expectations and rather than cheapen the product with something that didn’t look good we came to decision to omit them.
And truth be told rather than spending additional funds to reprint labels we instead invested in the gold foil and black borders seen on the legacy and prestige editions. These decks will never be reprinted and the edition sizes are actually smaller than they were announced in the end.
Which I think makes for a better appreciation of the cards in the end. Let me know what you all think?
The red and blue decks are actually MORE limited than the black ones.

they just looked like paper labels. Uninspired. It was a similar issue with the Wyrmwood stickers (which I LOATHED). I hated them.
In the all the chaos of changing printers its just a aspect that we didn't spend enough time on. I wasn't going to delay things any longer!

You see these are the gimmicks that doesn't make sense in the first place. Complicate things, overblow production costs by making 20 variants, and it doesn't even work as expected in the end. Rip FOMOism, I hope.

Also, he just casually said this like the foils and borders were optional. They were unlocked stretchgoals, no matter how sketchy the way they were unlocked, Omar did it that way because a lot of whale backers would back out for lack of the advestised features. He tried to remove them when things were going sideways with WJPC, but he knew it will be his grave, and we would've been there to witness. ;)

Now he spins it as justification to sacrificing the seals. But sure, after printing lots of bottom seals before, it also happened to went wrong on this project.

The first part of my pledge arrived. The tucks look great. I haven't opened one yet, but will do so soon. Looking forward to seeing the brick box.

Omar - thanks for sticking with this and seeing it through. Far too many creators have flaked/dropped out for one reason or another and left supporters hanging. Appreciate it!

I’ll be the first to admit that I made some mistakes on this project. I’m sorry for that. The only thing I can do now is hope to learn and apply what I’ve learned. The seals were definitely one oversight that should’ve been corrected before they were printed. I was gutted when I saw them. They cheapened the decks so much. So I chose to omit them. The other issue which will hopefully be resolved soon is getting the brick boxes out to customers who ordered them asaply. Hoping that can happen as soon as gamblers finishes the main fulfillment.

Lessons I’ve learned and am applying with my next project, parlour royale are that they decks are already printed and waiting at gamblers for immediate fulfillment. There are only three editions. None of them locked behind any kind of paywall.

Thanks for the transperancy, Wake

Yeah, it's hard to go through for every projects that got affected when Cartamundi closed their doors on custom decks, but you made it through!

He's usually not active on Instagram when he doesn't have a project going on. Not sure about his emails though.

So yeah, it was supposed to be eu-friendly shipping, now it is customs hell due to splitting the reward into 2 shipments:
Thank you for completing the web form and providing the information regarding the current shipment.

Is the second shipment with the second part of the cards already on its way?

In the case where the seller splits the shipment, we have two options:
1. Wait for the arrival of the second half and process both shipments together on a single customs declaration. This would result in one total import fee plus one customs declaration service fee of 350 CZK.
2. Have the seller issue two pro forma invoices with the proportional value of each shipment. You will then receive a calculation of the import fee for each shipment separately, and a customs declaration service fee of 350 CZK will be charged for each.

Unfortunately, the current shipment cannot be processed as part of a total order, and then the second part declared with zero value. This is not permitted from a customs standpoint.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: The required documents must be provided by August 24, 2025. Otherwise, the shipment will be returned to the sender. If the sender’s instructions state “Do not return” (Abandonné), the shipment will be officially destroyed.
A storage fee of 50 CZK per calendar day will be charged, starting from August 16, 2025.
The brick is not on its way. So now what? Pay full tax and customs on both packages because I only have one price for the whole reward? Or let the brick be destroyed by customs. What a mess. :(

Hi. Send me an email to info@thegentlemanwake.com. We can get you a pro forma invoice for the items you received and that way you will only pay customs on the items you are waiting for.

Mine hasn't moved beyond "USPS Awaiting Item" since July 24. Trying to be patient just a little bit longer.

I seem to have a problem as well. It looks like my package was returned to sender back on August 1st, so they should have it again. I just emailed you with another address you can send it to. Glad I checked on it. I just figured it was taking a long time.

So I finally have the first batch of completionist tier cards in hands and I am very happy with what I see. Both tucks and cards are a beautiful addition to my card collection and my S17 shelves. :)

But I can't stress enough how I miss the Cartamundi paper quality for handling. I don't know if it is just me but I can't do a simple faro with these. Fans are so so. Basic handling for a game of cards with riffle shuffling is ok (and riffling is very satisfying with a nice snap). On the other hand the paper feels quite sturdy and I suppose it will be very durable. So hopefully it will at least stay with us longer.

It is just a sad reminder that I have to cherish my thinning stock of B5 decks as they will probably never get back. :(

And Omar, thanks a lot for helping me with the invoice for customs!

Anyone here that ordered a brick, heard or received a notice yet? I believe the last update suggested shipping in Sept due to the GW workload, but I haven't seen anything yet. I did get Parlour, yesterday, so wondering if BB bricks went out to anyone thus far?
