for those who missed the KS update and is facebookless, and instaless (=without instagram) lol
here are the pictures of the prototype of BrickXI from the factory.
It took ages and the project has delay (as always) because it is very complex

complexity is related to:
custom tuck-boxes
custom brickXI box
custom seals (they need to be placed perfectly)
acrilyc element (because it is another factory doing it).
and more.

Anyway, better to wait and get a high quality product, or not?
I talk to EPCC for 45 minutes and solve all the tiny issues one by one. It´s going to be a nice job.

EPCC told me that I have priority and they are arranging the shipping schedule
Waiting for an update from them... Everything has been fixed, approved and tested.
I hate waiting as you do.... As soon as I have news I post an update everywhere.

Well, I can't post the shipping schedule because they float "ocean freight" from Taipei to the US, but the advance guard of Heretic decks got to Stockholm today, I won't ruin his surprise, but he did post pix on the Stockholm17 Facebook page before he was done for the day.

Hard to say anything about the finished products here but "damn"! Just amazing, Noctis is especially sexy!

We all know it has a huge delay, but eventually it will arrive. The big load is on a ship heading to the US. I dont know an ETA yet, asked already and waiting for an answer.
I start now to work on the Gran Riserva and send it out probably in a couple of weeks. I have to make many wax seals, one by one.

I wouldn't be sad if I recieved the gran riserva decks before the rest. Lol.

I'm in such a dilemma. Every time I see more pictures of the Brick XI, I want to open it less and less. I feel it would be sacrilege to tamper with it!

man, I have 5 here in stockholm, I didnt dare myself ahhaha

I actually took preventive measures though. I ordered an extra Lux and Noctis.

That in mind. Tell that boat to hurry up. I am tired of waiting.

Let's just hope the labour disputes at the Port of LA are settled before the ship comes in. There's starting to be another backlog in containers going out and ships anchored in harbour waiting to offload. So while the ship may get there (if it gets there even with all the winter storms to pass through on its voyage) it may just sit there waiting to offload while the longshoremen settle their contracts.

California bound shipping is getting hassled and slowed down, regardless of who or what is responsible. Let's hope that they have that sorted out in about three weeks!

Lorenzo: are the cards sent inbound to the port of "Oakland CA"?

Yea, some serious labor disputes going on at the LA harbor. Really backed things up. I'm not all up to speed at the current state but I heard it was starting to flow again. Hopefully these will be sent north.

I can't wait to get my heretic gran riserva. I passed on the required so I got both this time.

What do you mean by getting both?

For those like me waiting with baited breath for these, I have been following the ship carrying them via the link Lorenzo provided in a previous update. That ship is docked in Newark NJ, less than 20 miles from NY. Not sure if they will go all the way to NY or unload at Newark but either way... they're here!!!
