Regarding the 1st and 2nd Year rewards, Royal Silk is almost done, Patrons is completed (for year 1) and Golden Rule Patrons Edition (for year 2) will start printing next week. The burden of Royal Silk which was holding everything back will be completely lifted in a few days and we will proceed very fast with the rest of the decks.

The latest Patron update! Holy smokes!!! Unreal.
I'm so excited and curious to hear more as he continues to refine things. Part of what I love about Lotrek is how he is part of the creative process from start to finish and because of that, we get to experience incredible feats. He can think out of the box, envision something, and then pour time and effort into bringing it to fruition and ultimately to his supporters' hands. It's evident he's excited and I'm all for it.
I'm excited to discuss the implications of this announcement once he makes it publicly known. Right now, I'll be giddy in private.

How is the handling on the Golden Rule deck?

They handle ok. They stick at first and are stiff. But they soften up after repeated handling.

I thought they would handle better than they do. I thought they would be like Maestro, but they aren’t for some reason.

I found them fine for springs, dribbles and faros - fan reluctant but not clumpy

Thanks Gandalf. Seeing them side by side I can see they belong to the same style it's just that there's a range in how detailed each image is. Some are near the top end, some are at the bottom. And like the borders on a USPCC card back sometimes the range gets shifted all the way to the extreme like with that Queen of hearts. Can't say I'm overly impressed. Maybe with full foil it looks good enough but this version is a pass for me I think.
i agree with this mostly and i think the KoD and the QoH shown in the picture alone together are the 2 extremes of the detail difference in the deck. side by side they are glaringly different. in the context of all of the courts they are not AS BAD. still getting an 80's he-man teela vibe from that queen though.

Well this thread took an unexpected turn. Honestly I'm just glad I came here to look for photos before making a £30 purchase I'd regret later. My thanks to Kevork for putting those cards side by side so the contrast was clear to see.

Here I was trying to showcase two of my favorite courts from the deck and yielded a completely different reaction from the community. I'm glad all the courts were posted to get a more accurate depiction.

IMMENSELY giddy. That is the kind of stuff I hoped would appear with Patreon subs. It looks so good and I wish I could write more.

The gift deck is in the shop now for those who bought a royal silk. Unless I calculated the time wrong, it's a bit early.

If anyone is able to grab me two Teal copies, that would be fantastic, but if that's not entirely ethical, then no worries. I'd just rather avoid secondhand market prices or the possibility there will be none left come time for his next sale in two weeks.

Now that it's up on the site, we can see: 35€ before discount. 30€ with. Looks to be his pricing for gilded non-foiled decks.

I was panicking for a while as I thought I did not receive the email with instructions for Patrons. I was searching in my email for "Oath" and it was not coming up. Once I searched for "Lotrek" I found it. What is sad is I got the email only a couple of days ago but could not remember getting it. My memory is in a sad state.

Kevork (and anyone else interested),
Lotrek has kindly placed a two-additional-deck limit for those getting a free Silk Teal. I *think* I read that when the remaining stock arrives in two weeks, he'll be making some available to Patreon Patrons as well, so you should be covered. If not, though, I'm sure if you ask him nicely, he'll be kind enough to make one or two available to you.
And, Patrons: don't forget to use the discount code when you order your Silk Sands!

For some reason (maybe it's just me) but the SILK password isn't working.
I've tried multiple browsers and on my phone. Anyone else having issues access the SILK page?
Cheers,
KW

Are you using the discount password from Patreon (no) or the other password in the email (yes)?

Grabbed myself the gift deck only. The freebies are nice and all but I would love to just finally get the regular stuff. It's becoming more and more of a hassle to keep myself updated. It got to a point for me, where I just threw the last Redemption decks, after a quick quality check, in the drawer after they arrived whitout being able to really appreciate them. With all the editions of it feels like watered down Oath. Fable was the last deck that gave me the beloved Oath-WOW-feel. I guess honeymoon is over for me...

Teal sold out, Sand only 164 left.
Edit: Current Teal stock sold out until the remaining stock comes in 2 wks time.
2 passwords needed.
1 is for the Silk store because Teal is only for those who preordered Royal Silk
1 for the patron discount
Patrons who didn't order Royal Silk, just go into the patron site and get Sand, but don't forget the patron discount.
Happy that Lotrek admits even he doesn't know how he manages to overcomplicates things and he dreams of a day when it's just "Hey, folks! We have a new deck. Check it out..."
Yes, we all also await of the day when it's just go to the store and pick up a new deck with no delays.

Teal sold out
Not entirely
It is a print run of 1000 gilded decks of which 800 will be available now ... we will make the Teal Edition available to those few Patrons who haven't preordered Royal Silk. This will be later, in about 2 weeks when we will get the second batch from our gilding provider.

As I was ordering my Teals and Sands, I heard a knock at the door. My Golden Rule had arrived. Timing is everything.
About Golden Rule, now that I've had time to look them over, I really don't see what the fuss is about the discrepancy in the level of detail. At first glance, the Queen of Hearts was the one that gave me pause, her face being so unblemished, but it's very easy to imagine the universe or time period in which this deck is set being one in which kings and queens have a giant age gap. That, to me, sufficiently explains all. It's not only detail, it's colors as well, as the kings look more pale and grey when compared to their better halves.
