Alvin, I would really like to get a pair of Sishou decks. I found a pair on Ebay but missed out on the auction. I signed up for email notification on your website but haven't heard anything. If these are available anywhere, I would really appreciate you letting me know. Sishou was the first choice of decks on my upcoming birthday wishlist but I can't find them anywhere. Any and all help will be appreciated.

We will soon have those in stock at a very reasonable price

I'm sure Alvin will be selling them soon enough and probably at a better price.

Hi, all.
I didn't back this on Kickstarter, but did pledge via backerkit while that was still open for pre-orders. One of the items I pledged for was the coin, but I can't see the Kickstarter update regarding the coins because, well, I wasn't a backer, and the update is backer-only. So... what's the news with the coins?
Thanks!

This is the update from April 2nd:
For those who have ordered coins, I am very sorry for the delay. CoinsForAnything has shipped them to me on 20th March after their inventory move.
Here is a screenshot from USPS tracking. It is in United Kingdom and is going through customs. So it won't be long until I receive them and be able to ship them out to you all!

Some people asked us here to warn them when we will have the deck in stock, so here you go :
https://www.cartesmagie.com/fr/recherch ... Rechercher" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
At this time, our price is about the same than the Kickstarter price !

All the coins were shipped last week and should arrive soon depending on where you live.
I still have a few waiting to be shipped with the T-shirts.
This delay wasn't expected and shouldn't happen again.

For what it's worth, my coin was waiting for me in the mail today. (BTW, I'm on the west coast of the US.)
So, that said, the coin apparently became separated from its envelope. The clever folks at the US Postal Service put the two in a plastic bag so that the address still shone through and the coin arrived with in. Even though the coin had slid out of the paper envelope with my address, the coin's plastic sleeve still protected it -- doesn't appear to be scratched up at all.
In fact, I dare say, this coin looks better in person than I was expecting.
So... while, on the one hand, you may want to pack coins in sturdier shipping envelopes next time, as far as I'm concerned: all is well that ends well, and I'm very satisfied with the conclusion of this project.
Cheers!

Well, mine "arrived" yesterday as well, sans plastic bag unfortunately. So, no coin at all, just an envelope with a nice tear at the end...

Mine arrived today.
Yes, the coin was still in the envelope (barely) but, the plastic sleeve had also come apart enough that the coin was nicked.
It's not horrible but, considering how expensive it was and how long it took to get to me...

Just a quick tip to anyone mailing coins in regular envelopes, you need to be sure to tape them down really well on the inside so they don't slide around during the journey. The sliding around in the thin paper envelope is what causes the edges to rip and the coin to the fall out

I don't think that's just a nick, that's a significant chunk of coin that's damaged and I wouldn't consider that acceptable.
I don't get when people skimp on packaging. You put so much effort into making the product great, you should make sure to go that extra final mile to ensure that your customers get it in perfect shape so they can fully appreciate the product in the way that you intended. I'm not saying this is the case here, but if one's margins are so tight that one doesn't have enough money to properly protect and package the product, or if one is trying to maximize one's profit at the expense of proper packaging, then that is a serious problem. Again, I'm not saying this is Alvin's situation, but its troubling to see multiple reports of inadequate packaging on these coins, and I certainly hope he will make things right with those who received damaged coins, or no coins at all.

Wow, good timing to see all this. I just got the survey request for the Hells Gate and was thinking about adding a coin. Not so sure now...

The problem with this coin is it wasn't manufactured on time and instead of holding all orders with coins, he shipped them and then shipped the coins separately as inexpensive as possible. It was a judgement call and I for think he did the right for his backers. There were some issues due to the inexpensive packaging but I'm sure he will make everything as right as possible.

Hello all, just would like to answer all the questions.
I have already purchased sturdier packaging and this won't happen in the future.
Ill even tape all the edges so that rips don't happen.
For those who have damaged/missing coins, I have already sent out replacements.
Sorry for the initial disappointment! But I am also learning as I go through this since its my first project.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Alvin sent me a no-cost replacement as soon as I contacted him. It arrived in perfect condition!
And it is quite possibly the most beautiful coin produced for a KS campaign, IMHO!
Thanks Alvin!
