Sorry if this is deviating off the topic a bit. But do the 50% coupon codes from Vanda have a time limit?

Oh, yes...you have 2 more weeks and then they expire at the end of May.

I've watched this thread & the campaign 2 weeks now and kept quiet. I wasn't interested in the campaign at all even though i like cardistry decks.
About the decks in the campaign:
7 out of 12 decks had only Black & White Back designs, way too boring for my taste. I like colorful cardistry decks :)

Deck 1 "Circles" Back design looks like the "Headlong Into Eternity" by Anyone Worldwide. No Faces, a turn off for many people.
Deck 2 "Squares" looks almost like the "Optricks" deck by Mechanic Industries, without the thing in the middle. Faces without index.. + the courts are too similar to each other...
Deck 3 "Bills" Back design is quite ok but not really cardistry intended, nice face cards but still not something to open my wallet.
Deck 4 "Dots" Back design again is quite ok but not really cardistry intended, Faces... no index, a fan would look to be blanc and i would like to see a queen instead of reading "Queen" + the numer cards have actually the double amount of the suits what they stand for (Example: The "10 of hearts" has 20 hearts)
Deck 5 "Tuxedo" has a similar idea like the "Gentleman" deck from Bocopo. The faces are ok.
Deck 6 "Urchin" that's a good one, i like the back design and the faces with index are nice.
Deck 7 "Spectrum" A pure Cardistry deck without any real faces, nice for fanning but that's it.
Deck 8 "Puzzle" same as deck #7
Deck 9 "Cambio" nice, same as deck #6 "Urchin"
Deck 10 "Ren" Back design is ok, again no index -> blanc face fan, courts are very similar.
Deck 11 "Cube" Back desing reminds me of Nicolai Aarøe's first deck "Artistic Spring", Index on face cards are almost useless + i would like to see a queen instead of reading "Q"
Deck 12 "Polaris" pure cardistry deck, no faces. I have the originals, which are really nice! The originals are still available on some websites ;) This would be a downgrade to the originals imo.

Now to new deck ideas:

This with Metallic Inks + nice face cards WITH index would be sick  :

I also like this version without the shades + the recently shown faces are good too:
x2.png
x2.png (395.35 KiB) Viewed 2049 times
I wonder why these weren't shown here (Checkout the ideas on instagram --> https://www.instagram.com/cardxtry/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ):

With nice faces....

I really love this :

and also like this:

and this one:

At the end i think it would be a good idea to make it quarterly (3 decks 4 times a year, especially for international customers because international shipping 12 times a year is really expensive! )

Here's another design I'm playing with in the Bauhaus style...

Dave, the ones you've put up on UC are just crazy awesome! I'm just wondering if you'd found a way to release them singlely or in small batches?

You mean small production runs or fewer deck designs at a time?

Fewer deck designs per batch, like 3-5 decks or a half brick of different decks :)

yup, that's the plan (i think i mentioned that somewhere in this thread)...the relaunch will include 3 deck designs and 1 of them will be up for voting/input from backers.

I am pretty sure that Paul Carpenter of Encarded was also playing around with a similar Bauhaus style with bold colors...you might want to look into that. :?

Just spoke with Paul...he doesn't have a Bauhaus project, although his Priory deck has some a geometric pattern.

DIVA and Palette are by far the best known decks that use the Bauhaus art styles, I've done a review for both on my Instagram page

OK, great! It was a while back when I saw it and thought it was similar...glad you can move forward as I really like the looks of the deck, as well as all of the new designs you have shown. This just keeps getting better! :ugdance:

Replying to your question above, the top one, but it would be better with this index color patch cut out that matches the court character's hat, like this:

I like the top one. HOWEVER, i do think the serif font doesn't really fit the bauhaus style. I think it might be better to use a san-serif font similar to the one used on the Cobra deck by JP games.

I like both color schemes, can't decide which I like more.

For the top one, though, I'd like to see some red in the black courts and some blue in the red courts to avoid the monochrome look.
